The best experience we've had! The place is quiet and very considerate — here circular economy and sustainability and really taken seriously. The owner is such a great host! The breakfast features freshly baked bread, homemade jam and cheese, and is just amazing. If this place is available, book it immediately and you won't regret it.

Very friendly host, had some very cute abd friendly cats that hang out with us the whole time we were there. The house was very clean and cozy. We loved our stay!

Situated within 46 km of Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 28 km of Manteigas Hot Springs, O Salgueiro features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Melo. The host is amazing! Property is really cool, either nice features, complete to a beautiful and functional stay. It’s located 1h from the Serra da Estrela Torre, what’s a good distance. The village is really quiet, but don’t have many things to do. I recommend the stay here.
