Fantastic location, one street away from lake and ferry terminal. Right in the heart of the restaurants and shops but very quiet at night.

Offering city views, Casa Gambusso historical house magnificent Lake View is an accommodation located in Verbania, 41 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 41 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The apartment is charming and full of character. Plus, it is huge and very well-equipped with everything from a pair of scissors to a cork screw. The hosts, Maria and Paolo, could not do enough for us. They even provided wine and several types of water in the fridge for us. There were maps with places of interest and restaurants in the area in a basket on the table. The ultimate kindness was taking us to the train station on our day of departure and handing as a bag of special amaretti cookies from the area. We travel a lot and places like this are few and far between. Very special.

Located in Cannobio, Spiaggia Amore - Appartamenti Vacanza Vista Lago is a recently renovated accommodation, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 18 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The kitchen was fully stocked with excellent appliances and cookware as well as beautiful china and was a joy to relax with breakfast. It gave out onto a small balcony with a view of the lake. A very short ad beautiful walk to get to either the main lakeside and center of town.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. They have a nice pool and a small private beach. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

Also left us with a welcome pack of local treats. And dropped off extra coffee pods when we ran out! Easy walking to the lake and lots of local restaurants. Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean in an excellent location and home from home comfort. We couldn’t fault it! Lots of lovely edible treats left in the apartment by our lovely host Piera.
