Located within 300 metres of Monastiraki Square and 300 metres of Monastiraki Railway Station in the centre of Athens, Mythodea Athens Suites provides accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. The room was beautiful. It was still very much brand new, so clean, and exactly how you see it in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet even though you are downtown Athens. The location is perfect: everything you need (sights, stores, public transportation, etc.) is a short walking distance away. It was lovely to sit on the balcony, sipping morning tea (tea & coffee supplied in the room), and watch Athens wake up. The owner, Konstantinos, is so helpful, friendly, and attentive. He contacted me ahead of time to arrange for a smooth arrival, and even with flight changes and really late arrival, the check-in was well organized via key box and detailed instructions. Konstantinos kept checking during my stay that everything was perfect (which it was). The cleaning staff is very friendly and does a fabulous job keeping all the facilities in perfect condition. Should you need a ride from the airport, Konstantinos can also help to arrange this with Alex (airporttaxiathens.gr), who I also can wholeheartedly recommend. When I come back to Athens, I will definitely want to stay at Mythodea Athens Suites again, and I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

CUBES ON THE BEACH Athens Airport, a property with a garden, is set in Artemida, 500 metres from 3rd Vravrona Beach, 600 metres from Davis Beach, as well as 800 metres from Bebela Beach. It offers everything- beautiful bathroom - spectacular covered patio with table and chairs - private loungers on fake grassed area. Beds were big and comfortable. The mini kitchen area was better equipped than most apartments we stayed at. Access to airport was perfect.

Located within 300 metres of Ermou Street-Shopping Area and 200 metres of National Garden in the centre of Athens, The Athenians Art Apartments provides accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and... We liked everything concerning the property. Location is really very good. Less than 5 min walk to many of the attractions, hop-buses, etc. Pantheon entry is 17 min :) The overall idea to convert whole building floor into descent apartments with all the code accesses and business flow details is very good. We liked all and I'll not repeat all already said. Now, about some not that positive moments, which might appear and cannot be considered as property issue. Generally speaking, traffic and parking in downtown Athens is a VERY specific story. While traffic specifics are bearable with some extra attention, active dynamic defensive driving and behavioral analysis of the low flying mopeds around :) finding a parking spot requires experience, reconnaissance and propitiation sacrifice to the god of parkings, which overall, we, the first time visitors to Athens don't have :) Don't underestimate :) Yes, there is a parking in the same building. Yes, in most cases, it will probably be fine. But there is a black dressed prophet of the god of parkings on your way that you have to pass. Obviously I was a sinner and I was not the chosen one :) My sin is called citroen berlingo and especially its height of 1.8m doomed it out of parking heaven. So if you are driving something different than sedan or smaller crossovers stay alerted. Until you pass your vehicle's keys to the prophet, you are not safe. Yes, in most of the parkings in Athens you will be asked to give your keys so the vehicle can be tetris-ed around the place. If you don't fit to this place, you have to continue straight ahead down the street. Turn left at the junction and keep the right lane (where might be already a queue). In less than 100m there is another parking (not the cheapest one at all) which have open space and can accommodate higher vehicles. This maneuver could cost you about 45min if you are unlucky enough.

Offering free WiFi and mountain views, Hestia - Ippokratous 35 is an accommodation located in the centre of Athens, just 300 metres from University of Athens - Central Building and less than 1 km from... I like the entry code that you are given during initial check in. It is better than having to carry a key card. Also, the location is excellent. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, plus there's a 24-hr restaurant downstairs. You can walk to all the sites within 15-20 mins. Rooms were clean and nice. There is a washing machine and dryer on the lower level. Very helpful for those taking longer trips. Also, I was able to get a late check out.

Boasting garden views, Cinema Zeus Studios - by Avelink offers accommodation with patio, around 3.8 km from Metropolitan Expo. even though there was a public transport and taxi strike the host managed to organise a transport for me quite easily. Other requests were also not turned down and in general very understanding and helpful. There's also a video projector and netflix which was also really nice.
