Die Haus liegt in einer Seitenstraße direkt im Zentrum von Moffat. Unser Mietauto konnten wir kostenfrei vor dem Haus abstellen. Wir fanden, dass das Haus - besonders die Küche - überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war hervorragend.

Die Unterkunft Luxurious Family Pod with Garden and Hot tub - The Stag Hoose by Get Better Getaways verfügt über Bergblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Balkon und einer Kaffeemaschine,... Me and my son loved this place, the owners are lovely, beautiful surroundings in the country side, our dog had a lot of fun exploring our own pet friendly garden which is all enclosed to each lodge privately, the hot tub was amazing and even though it rained here and there…we were able to still use as it’s got a roof to keep u protected, they even left us a little valentines card on arrival, plenty of extras u can get and great prices, no need to take wood as there is wood to buy at the lodge and not expensive at all, the fire pit is also lovely, my fave part at night, they also supply a separate bbq, we never used due to the time of year, highly recommend “the pub” (actual name) only 15 min drive and good prices if u fancy a meal out, our favourite trip so far and we’ve done glamping trips before, can’t wait to return, highly recommend :)

These beautifully designed tiny houses were perfect! Great views with lots of wildlife and walks nearby. We ordered the breakfast hampers each morning and they were delicious. There are 7 little cabins and they are great for any kind of trip. The Alder cabin also has a hot tub which was an added bonus! Elen was very responsive and incredibly helpful!

I had an absolutely delightful stay at the log cabin. Ian and Kay proved to be exceptional hosts, going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Ian even paid us a visit shortly after our arrival, ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction and providing clear guidance on how to reach him should we require any assistance. The seclusion of these cabins is nothing short of perfect, offering serene views of the sea, with the added bonus of glimpses of Belfast's city lights twinkling in the distance during the night. The west-facing position of the cabins is a true highlight, providing us with breathtaking sunsets that felt like a daily gift from nature. What truly impressed me was the thoughtful attention to detail within the cabins themselves. They were equipped with everything one could possibly need, from reliable WIFI for staying connected to modern hot showers that added a touch of luxury to the rustic charm of the log cabin experience. In summary, my stay at this log cabin was a wonderful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, thanks to the warm hospitality of Ian and Kay, the idyllic setting, and the well-appointed cabins. I can't wait to return for another dose of tranquility and those stunning sunsets. Highly recommended!

Gelegen in Thornhill, nur 4,6 km von Drumlanrig Castle entfernt, bietet die Unterkunft Boggle Dyke Cottage Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einer Terrasse, Grillmöglichkeiten und... Wir sind von unserem Aufenthalt im Boggle Dyke Cottage absolut begeistert! Die Unterkunft besticht einerseits durch ihren Charme seiner Geschichte, daneben andererseits durch eine moderne und sehr gepflegte Ausstattung. Wir haben uns, insbesondere mit unserer Hündin, absolut willkommen gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt genießen können! Das kleine Gärtchen ist ein Vogelparadies (während wir da waren auch viele Jungvögel, die wir beobachten konnten). Die Lage des Cottages ist wirklich toll, Einrichtungen des täglichen Bedarf sind gut zu erreichen und daneben bietet die Region zahlreiche Ausflugsziele für jeden Geschmack (uns wurde es nicht langweilig und wir konnten längst nicht alles besuchen, was sich angeboten hätte). Überall wurden wir überaus freundlich empfangen (auch mit Hündin!) und im Cottage fanden wir viel Infomaterial für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!
