Amazing location with an excellent and peaceful view! Rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hostess was polite and discreetly checked whether we needed anything during our stay. Great attention was given to every detail, from decoration of the property to everything that you may need for breakfast. We really appreciated the welcoming local Bakewell tarts and wine. Thank you! 🙂 We will definitely come back!

The Tenth House exceeded all expectations. It's so beautifully and thoughfully laid out with the space used in very inventive ways. We loved our bedroom and our 3 year old adored 'his' room with not only bunkbeds but lots of toys and books for him. He also fell in love with 'Alexa' and DJ'd his heart out. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, bathroom was beautiful and the little living room on the first floor a lovely place to cosy up in the evening. Location is also great, right in the middle of this gorgeous little town and there are plenty of things to do in the vicinity. One thing we noticed is that as we were visiting in June, a lot of the kids attractions weren't open on the weekdays yet, so take that into account. Kelly and Martin were excellent hosts and, although not present, were attentive and responsive throughout our stay, responding to and solving little problems and questions. They provided amazing information ahead of time, including local sights, eateries and other logistics, but also very comprehensive information on the house. We really appreciated little touches like how to get a pint from next door while still staying in the little courtyard in range of the baby monitor! It makes such a difference to get advice from families with small kids who get it. I would say the house is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, max. The stairs are very steep, so make sure children are confident with stairs.

It’s in a great location, free car parking, in a private & secure location, only a short walk to town with its many shops/cafes/pubs/restaurants . The accommodation was very well equipped, having everything that we could possibly need to make our stay as comfortable as possible & a fabulous home from home.

Derwent View Apartments provides accommodation located in Matlock Bath, 200 metres from Gulliver's Kingdom and 400 metres from Heights of Abraham. The room was beautiful. Tasteful decor, immaculate, new furnishings and floor coverings and a functional kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable. Another bonus was access to a shared, spotlessly clean laundry. The bathroom was modern, spacious and with opening windows for ventilation. The little touches, nice cookies, a pint of milk, washing powder, detergent and handwash were greatly appreciated. Our apartment was on the ground floor with car spot right out the front on the property. Highly recommend a stay. Location is superb.

Quaint cottage, located in a beautiful derbyshire village. Great location for getting around. Very clean and cozy, well equipped with everything we needed. Nice comfy bed. The shower was amazing. Plenty of parking. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Joanne was lovely, with great communication before our stay. It was a pleasure to finally meet her. Happy to recommend this property to family and friends. Would definitely stay again! 😁
