From the reviews, we decided to come and stay an extra evening in Melk, rather than continue in Vienna, and it certainly did not disappoint. Large, spacious, modern and sophisticated, we lived in luxury for a reasonable off-season price. We later learnt that Der Goldener Stern also had a past as a historic inn owned by the Abbey. No staff were seen, and none were needed at this self check-in apartment. Radiator was great for drying washed clothes.

Located in Gerasdorf bei Wien, Weißes Haus is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Austria Center Vienna and 15 km from Vienna Prater. All was in hight level! Apartment was very clean and comfortable! Terrace is to big and very nice for relaxing. Owner Maria was so kind person.
