We booked it because of the location and historic nature of the building. We also thought the statue of Lincoln out front was fun.

Breakfast was wonderful, everything fresh and the breads and pastries freshly baked.
Even the snacks available in kitchen after hours were great.
Kitchen very clean anything you might need is there.
Walking around the beautiful grounds very relaxing.
The staff were warm, went out of their way to help if you needed anything or had any questions.
The Inn is beautifully furnished and elegant, yet comfortable and warm.
They do have quiet hours so not a party place although, plenty of places to sit outside and socialize.
I would stay here again.
For the price in my opinion, beats the noise, the crowded hotels in town.

Everything. The location, cleanliness, well thought out amenities. The house was very comfortable and felt like home. The communication was perfect. The owners were very accommodating when I mixed up the reservations and worked to resolve the issue I had created.
Children will love the bunk room. The location was incredible. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a modern grocery store. The square was a 5-minute walk and we had a wonderful dinner at The Pub. We found an amazing coffee shop around the corner called Presidents Coffee. We took a fun pottery class next door to the coffee shop. Then had Shepherds Pie at Garryowen Irish Pub a block away. It was a 10-minute walk to the Dobbin House (the hour+ wait for lunch was worth it). Also drove to the Round Barn in Biglerville - fantastic marketplace. And of course, the Battlefield. It was an amazing trip for 3 friends who have been together for 50 years. The best trips are always about the friendship, but this year, it was based in an incredible house and we wouldn't change a thing.

Very very nice cabin. Everything was clean and fresh
We rented all three rooms at the Inn on Lincoln Square and an adjoining townhouse to accomodate an extended family celebration by 12 adults. The rooms in the Inn were spacious, beautifully decorated for the season and very comfortable. The townhouse rooms were comfortable and the kitchen and living spaces on the first floor were welcoming and more than met our requirements. Interesting shopping, lively taverns and food choices from diner plates to pub grub were all within easy walking from our lodging.
Second visit staying here. The hosts are so lovely and helpful. I had rooms 3a and 3b and had plenty of space. The big bonus is the 24x7 kitchen where you can help yourself to breakfast and snacks. I was travelling on a budget and the bfast was great. Kind and generous hosts who assisted me and my luggage to the bus station.
Room was comfortable but I would pick Room 3a next time as it was brighter and more spacious and has a mini fridge.
I would definitely stay here again when visiting Gettysburg.
Stayed two nights. We didn't meet the owners but communication from them was excellent. Stayed in the Irene Danner suite. Plenty of room, a gorgeous four poster bed with steps up that I needed! Also a lovely sitting room and kitchen facilities that we didn't need but appreciate some might. Location is right in the centre near plenty of bars & places to eat. The owners supply plenty of information about the area in the room.
The innkeeper was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was right beside the kitchen so when she heard we were up, she offered us some early breakfast, fresh coffee, and some conversation. Our room was very clean and quaint and the bed was very comfortable. We had the room with a garden view and it was adorable!
comfortable home with 3 sleeping rooms (1 with 2 single beds and 2 with a double bed each), a comfortable sitting room and pleasant kitchen. also we could wash and dry all our clothes. the town is beautiful
