The location of the property was high up, we arrived in the dark so didn’t fully appreciate the amazing views until the next day although the lights from the town were very pretty. The room was beautifully decorated and had a log burner (which was good as it was a very cold evening), the bathroom was very nicely done, comfortable bed, good quality linen, we were able to use the main entrance kitchen area and the host kindly lit a fire for us. The next morning we could see the facilities and in warmer weather it must be beautiful and restful, bar area, pool, great views. Very romantic vibe. Our room had a swing outside which was good fun! Good breakfast, very generous quantities.

The apartment is gorgeous, it has a nice decoration, a very comfortable bed and a bathroom with an awesome shower.
There's also a frigobar if you want to buy some sodas and store in it, but if you're into hot beverage there's coffee and tea on the kitchen.

Great rural location. Relatively easy to find. Host's dad was there to meet us. When we were there the weather was cold but in summer, the large pool would be very relaxing. Large house with 4 double bedrooms (2 with ensuites). Dinner in the evening (several courses) by the host's mother. Big kitchen so we cooked our breakfast in the house.

Conveniently located near the main bus station and close to the old downtown. Large appartement with one kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything is very clean and functional. Fernando the host is very nice and helpful. There's one dedicated parking place nearby.

The Villa is big, enough space for even group of ten. Great big kitchen with massive supplies, neverending wood for fireplace and pool for Hortex days. Perfect place to stay!

The location is beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed in a spacious and well-equipped self-catering stone casa. The grounds are extensive and very well maintained. The swimming pool is superb and so quiet and relaxing. The maps provided to us when we checked in were brilliant - we were able to explore the Douro and the Parque Natural do Alvão by car, as well take the riverside walk into the town of Vila Real. We self catered, but we made good use of the "Honesty Shop" at reception for local produce.
We stayed in the lagar and it was wonderful. Amazing outside space with a huge old stone table. Fully equipped kitchen and a large studio.
The gardens are amazing, out of the two pools we preferred the newest one but they were both fab.

Our stay at Casa Agricola was amazing - very friendly staff, comfortable and clean accommodation as well as a great property, which included two different pools. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need, a laundromat was available for free usage at the property itself and there was a daily delivery of bread, which we greatly appreciated. The small shop was staffed with locally sourced essentials. We will definitely come back and recommend to visit this place!
