Beautiful location and charming room maintaining the charm of the volcanic rock structure. The pool was lovely and we appreciated the free accessible washing machine with complimentary laundry soap. The kitchen had everything we could need, including olive oil, salt, dish towels and plenty of pots for cooking.

We enjoyed the large and extremely well-equipped kitchen, which included a full sized refrigerator and freezer and some staples like salt and cooking oil. The bedrooms were large and had comfortable mattresses. The property was located in a picturesque area with wine "currais", the traditional lava rock pens in the backyard. It was tastefully decorated.

We ended up doing the Pico mountain hike at the day of our departure. The person we dealt with (father of the owner) let us take a shower and stick around in another apartment (which we were lucky wasn't rented out) after checkout at no extra cost. In general, he was super nice and attentive and the communication with him was great even though he spoke only the most rudimentary English.

Absolutely amazing the best B&B ever!! Hottub amazing, kitchen amazing, bad slept amazing, the temperature amazing there is wifi, washingmachien, airco, coffee ect. Everything you need its here. Rhe whole place is a vibe and the host is simply lovely! THIS IS THE REASON I WANT TO GO PICO AGAIN!
The Medronho is simple but really nice and offers sea view as well as a view to the Pico. Detached from other properties it offers complete privacy. The entrance with living room and kitchen is spacious, the bath and two leeping rooms with good size. Very comfortable beds with a lot of pillows and hence you feel like the Princess and the Pea. The garden with a roofed perch invites to hang around outside, if the wind is not too strong. Don’t miss to visit the natural pool at Ponta do Admorio a 15 minutes drive away.
The apartment was small, but enough space for the two of us. It was great to have a private kitchen area, but the main advantage was not only that the whole complex was so nice, but the whirlpools! There were three heated whirlpools and one cold infinity pool, so enough space for everyone to enjoy the beautiful view over the ocean!
we loved waking up with such a beautiful view onto the ocean. The apartment was very good and we liked the attention to details, like having our own bathrobe on top of the towels. The kitchen was complete with all necessary utensils, coffee machine, toaster, microwave etc.
This hotel is a little gem. Located 15 min by car (needed) from Madalena and Lajes, it is a little paradise. Great view over the sea, in the middle of the vineyards. Very quiet area.
Kids very welcome.
Apartments are big enough, extremely clean and have every thing you need (AC, kitchen, etc).
