we were travelling by public transport and there was no bus at the time we arrived. we contacted Helena to ask for the number of a taxi bus when we arrived in Reguenos, half an hour away she was waiting to greet us and take us to Monsaraz. Great hospitality.

This little cottage is in the most beautiful location. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The village is spectacular. We felt so privileged to be able to ‘live’ in such a special place for a few days. The terrace and the views are wonderful. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village. The local lake beach is fab with a great restaurant and lots of water activities. The communication from the hosts was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We only stayed for one night to enable us to visit Monsaraz, which is an easy 3km drive away. The house has a lot of character and is probably typical of the Alentejo style. It felt almost like a living museum, and in that respect it was an authentic experience. Everywhere was clean and the bed linens and towels were nice. Plenty of towels and 2 bathrooms are useful if several people are staying. The green framed kingsize bed was old fashioned but very comfortable. There were just 2 of us so we didn't need the extra bedrooms. A little pricey for 2 but probably good value for a family. The village of Telheiro was nice. The area seems safe but parking inside the gates was a bonus.

Great location inside the city walls right next to the castle. There was a super outside terrace with a hot tub under an orange tree; a great place to relax after a busy day out! The kitchen, dining, living room was very spacious and very well-appointed with everything one could want. The bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of storage space.
The house is perfect for a small stay. The kitchen and eating area are small, but if you dont need to wear it it's fine.
The bedrooms are comfortable, the place is absolutly beautifull and the host is very nice and available for all our needs.
Great location and its a good sized 2 bed, 2 bath house with kitchen and living room - with fire! Very nice. Great terrace. The views are spectacular. And it's just across the road from Sahida Restaurant which is fabulous!!!!!
Everything met expectations. Bruno (the host) was super responsive and available, never a problem to get in touch. The house itself has everything that you might need to enjoy your stay. I loved the little closed space (as a garage spot) where you can grab a bite or just relax and watch the stars during the night. Kitchen was equipped with all necessary items to make a splendid meal and so on and so forth.
The terrace is to die for! The interior is well laid out. The kitchen is fully functional with a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and everything needed to cook a meal. The shower is great and with plenty of pressure and hot water. Every window has mosquito screens and the area is very quiet.
The area was very peaceful, the sound of birds twittering was lovely. The size of the apartment (with exception of the kitchenette) and the decor. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Great location, close to Monsaraz castle and other tourist attractions.
Typical Alentejo house with some modern touches, the place was beautifully renovated but kept traditional parts. AC in every division which was very comfortable considering cold, winter nights in Alentejo. Located in cute and small village. Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea and coffee. The owner is very nice, he will give you all the tips and information you need to take the most of your stay. Highly recommend place.
