Nelo is an awesome host. He provided me with information on where to eat and where to buy groceries. He even offered to pick me up at the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

A wonderful modern house, fully equipped and comfortable, sitting right next to a flowing river in total privacy. The murmur of the water is the perfect background to both sunrise and sgood-nights, and safe with a thoughtful mosquito netting on the window (though we didn't even hear a buzz ehen outside). The place is a wonderful base for touring the region, with several beautiful spots just 5-10 minuts away up river. I wish we could stay longer.

Every aspect of our visit met or exceeded our expectations. The area was magical and so peaceful and the host Joao and his assistant Alda went above and beyond to help us after I came down with a bad head cold during our stay. put of the way location way up in the hills. The owners have paid great attention to detail and provided everything we could possibly need. Plenty of comforts, blankets, nice towels, kitchen very well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble, they are so keen to ensure total satisfaction. There were loads of logs and hot water. What’s not to like?
