The location was excellent - only 50m from the exit of the Baixa-Chiado metro. Plenty of options for dining in the streets around the hostel and supermarkets if you are self-catering. The hostel has a fabulous communal kitchen and sitting/living space and staff are super helpful and friendly. If back in Lisbon, I'd definitely stay here again.
Spacious room (separate living room/kitchen and then bedroom) with good sized balcony (with good chairs to relax in). AC worked well. Nice Smeg appliances. Would be good base for self catering.
Location was 10 mins walk from the metro/ Time Out foodcourt. Cafes and mini grocery store nearby. The apartment clean and contemporary with good kitchen utensils and facilities available for self-catering. Bring dishwashing tablets is best to use the dishwasher. Check in computer method is very easy and convenient in the hallway.
This is a really good place to stay if you want a self-catering/independent stay in Lisbon. There is a communal kitchen so guests can cook their own meals and there is a dining room table at which to eat. This is a converted house with just 4 rooms for guests, so is nice and quiet. The surrounding area has some quite steep hills but there are two well-stocked supermarkets nearby and it is only ten minutes walk to the nearest tube station. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Clean, comfortable and with a basic but very workable kitchen set for self catering. The bathroom was excellent. As was the aircon, which also worked as a room heater. In all, very good value for money. And Rafaella was so helpful.
Included breakfast was decent. The place was very clean, you could actually smell cleaning agents as soon as you walk through the front door. Self catering kitchen was great if you want to prepare your own meals. 24 hour access to free tea and coffee was great. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location a little far from many of key sites in Lisbon, but nevertheless, very good, especially being right next to a metro station on a line that can take you directly to both the main train station and the international airport.
We liked the fact that it was a self-catering apartment with kitchen, fridge and a porch outside. We prefer self catering to hotels. Bonus: this accommodation is located within walking distance of tram 28, so there are no massive queues as you see on the other side of the tram line in city centre.
