The apartment (103) was very spacious and the property pictures represented what we experienced. The parking was ample. Entry to everywhere is by door codes, provided a couple of days before our arrival. The decor and facilities were very well thought through and met our needs. The cleanliness was faultless. We did have an opportunity to meet the owner. We suggested some improvements that could be made but he was already one step ahead and said these ideas I shared were already being implemented. We felt that the apartment could have been suitable to live in for much longer, it was that nice. Our 2 day stay was at the end of February and the air-conditioning quickly warmed the space. The WIFI worked perfectly. A 2-minute walk away is a large shopping center with plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket. Hint: a restaurant that we ate in, some 10 minutes uphill walk towards the castle, was Restaurante O" Pinguim. The food was absolutely superb and reasonably priced. We had the Sea Bass and it was very fresh and well prepared. The Tiramisu dessert was the best I've ever tasted.

Very polite and ready to help immediately. Very clean and very well designed. Great coffee and water waiting for us. Also tea bags wich is wonderful. The dishwasher is very handy in order to keep the apartment so clean as we found it! Wonderfully located. The housekeeper (Liliana) is very kind and always ready to help. Felt like being at home. I will definitively go back.

Beautiful property. Felt like home. Host was amazing and kind. Food was amazing, felt like we were visiting family. Claudino cooked us wonderful 4 course meal for dinner. Breakfast was a feast. Lovely fire was roaring when we arrived. Best experience of our trip to Portugal. If you are anywhere near…plan to stay. We will be back in summer to enjoy gardens and pool.

This was a really great location for us half way through our vacation in Portugal. The people at reception were super polite, friendly and helpful. The washer/dryer in the apartment was exactly what we needed, but all the extra accoutrements were appreciated. The location was excellent for exploring the city. The breakfast had just enough variety and quantity to start the day right. Fun to be able to eat in the apartment. Recommend with confidence.

Biautiful appartment in historical building. Located in the old city area, 2 min from the Cathedral. Underground parking 150 metrs from the appartment. We payed only 1.7 eur (from 5 PM to 11 AM).
