We recently stayed at Vila Luz and had a nice experience. This small hotel offers a peaceful retreat just outside of Luz, making it easy to access the beach and town. The breakfast was pleasant, featuring a variety of fresh fruits.
The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, always willing to answer our questions about local attractions and activities. While the prices may not seem reasonable compared to other four-star hotels in different parts of the world, this hotel is definitely one of the top choices in the area.

OMG! Beautiful place! Secure and private. Not large inside but big enough for two people and very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Who needs large inside anyway when outside is spectacular - plenty of sitting, stunning pool, sun lounges, breakfast on terrace... paradise! Checking went smooth, very friendly and helpful staff. Our family loved apartment, it was really good to have small swimming pool where we could sit and relax while children play in the pool. During our stay it was nice not to have too many other guests. Great location. The host Lurdes welcomed us and responded swiftly to a couple of issues. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool shared with apartment upstairs. Clean appartment. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable living area.
The property was very spacious, the kitchen was well kitted out and the balcony was lovely. We also spent one afternoon by the pool which was a bonus. You can sunbathe well into the evening and the water was warmer than the sea! Parking nearby was always easy too but the apartment is within walking distance of everywhere in Burgau.
