The apartment is located at the southern tip of Paleochora, behind the Venetian fort. Still, it is only 10 minutes easy walk from the centre. This part of Peleochora is starting to be redeveloped and so has been tidied up quite a bit. The apartment is new and hosted by a very friendly young couple who are always ready to help if you need anything. Our room had a good view over the sea and the "other" harbour of Paleochora - yes, there are 2 harbours. It was quiet and relaxing, the only real noise coming from the wind that you sometimes get everywhere in Paleochora.

So spacious, spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff. It was an apartment, so had a kitchen living room and long balcony. Also the biggest bed we have ever slept in! It was in a great location, by the beach, just minutes from everything. There’s not many places we would return to, but we woukd come bqck here in a heartbeat.
Amazingly clean all throughout the apartment, the staircase looked to be polished!

Sofia was a very discreet host and very laid back. She left some welcome treats in the kitchen for the whole family to enjoy (welcome bottles of cold water, small juice boxes for the kids, some snacks, coffee/tea/sugar and an entire watermelon waiting for us in the fridge!). All were very appreciated!
Over the course of many previous visits to Paleochora we have stayed in several different hotels and apartments. However, we feel that, for us, Oreia ticks all the boxes. It is close to the pebble beach (which we prefer), the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the aparments are spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable, the kitchens are well stocked for self catering and there is air conditioning in all the rooms. This was our second visit and hopefully not the last!
