This location is perfect. You walk into town if you want or just hang out & swim either at the beach or anywhere along the boardwalk. The swimming is amazing. Everyone is friendly & helpful. You can eat breakfast, lunch or a snack at the cafe on the property which serves excellent home cooked food, coffees, cool drinks, fresh fruit juices & alcoholic beverages. You sit right beside the crystal clear sea, relax, eat delicious food & enjoy the most refreshing swim whenever you want. Close by, you have have great restaurants with delicious dishes & the cost is reasonable. There's also a supermarket within easy walking distance so you can pick-up a few supplies is you want. We were absolutely charmed in every way, the whole experience exceeded any expectation we might have considered & we'll definitely return as soon as we're able.

Nikos was present to meet us and there every day, available for help like bookings, directions, transport queries etc.
the apartment was spacious and very clean. Bonus was the free KTEL Astiko bus that runs every half hour to town and around town, harbour and bus depot.

We had the apartment on the top which is beautiful and has two (!) private roof terraces. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up three steep and narrow flights of stairs - however you will be rewarded with this with an amazing view.
You have a lovely sight on the harbor and the apartment features everything you need. It is right in the center of the town with a huge variety of restaurants and cafes very close by, also the two main streets that feature many (a bit more touristy) shops are in a walking distance of 1 minute.
The owners were very friendly, you could reach them very fast and they even let us into the apartment 2 hours earlier as we had arrived very early in the morning on the island. They also left us some welcome raki :)

Beautiful, very spacious, very bright apartment with a distant but beautiful view of the sea. Its location is very good as a springboard for walks in the city, both in the center/lake and on the south side. The best fish taverns 2 minutes away. 2 beaches a few walk minutes away, although I can't rate the beaches as we drove to more famous ones. We constantly found parking within 20 meters of distance (October). The owner is very kind and helpful.

The bedroom is georgious and the window faces the east, so you wake with the sunshine. Lovely room, very comfortable bed, quiet place and even coffee and tea in the kitchen which we lacked in other apartments we stayed.
Everything was perfect in the apartments. They are clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed for our stay - coffee machine, kettle, iron, washing mashine, air conditioners. Kitchen is well equipped with all needed dishes, fridge, oven.
Locaion is in 5 steps from Ammos beach.
Restorants, shops and supermarkets are near apartments.

Bright modern apartment with amazing sea view.
This apartment has an excellent location (the beach is just in front of the apartment, and it is 10 minutes to the lake). It also has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your food and a nice design.

Everything was fine with the flat except the wifi which didn't work well. The flat is a self-contained unit with a separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen. You have your own parking space next to the flat which is nice and a little terrace with a table and 2 chairs. The owner kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine in the fridge.
It is a new villa with 5 apartments in a quiet area, close to beaches, main road, super market, restaurants; all apartments have a big terrace with nice view to the sea.
The apartment is cozy, spotless, big, with all you need for a comfortable stay: very well equipped kitchen, very good and silent air conditioning system, good pillows, bathroom amenities, very good wifi. The hosts are very kind and profesional: available for details about beaches, restaurants, welcome gift (water, wine, fruits!). Kind regards 🫶🏻
Apartment was extremely clean with modern facilities- everything was brand new. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Supermarket nearby and 10 min walk to centre of old town and 15 min walk to marina, shops and cafes.
Everything, the apartment was spacious, very clean, large balcony and very tastefully furnished. In the kitchen you had a coffee machine, coffee capsules, toast, fruit, honey jam. nothing was missing, washing machine and detergent, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner. Iron and hair dryer. Parking included just below the entrance. And most importantly, the owners were very hospitable.
We loved Candia! Such a pretty village. Lovely staff, pretty flowers and lush greenery everywhere, clean pools, kids club and lovely beach. Conveniently located to reach many beautiful places in the east side of Crete by car. Breakfast was great. Big apartment, separate bedroom to the kitchen, nice terrace, bottle of wine included, fruit, all new and comfy, cleaned daily. Bicycles are available to rent for free at the village.
