The hotel owners, spouses Eva and Nikos, are very kind and friendly, as if you came to old friends. The morning begins with breakfast - a light meal. Food for every taste - fresh and tasty. Having breakfast on the terrace or in the garden, under the cover of an awning, creates an atmosphere of home comfort. In the evening - it's also a restaurant. The spouses and their assistant Antigoni conjure in the kitchen! Everything they cook is delicious and satisfying.

Mateus Studios is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us (bear in mind it was 1am!). We were captivated by the breathtaking views, surrounded by a beautifully flowered garden and overlooking the Aegean Sea. The location is perfect—just 10 minutes from the serene Plaka Beach, and a pleasant walk along the strip takes you to a variety of charming tavernas (15-40minute walk from start to finish), with Manolis being our absolute favourite. The peaceful atmosphere and picturesque surroundings make it a haven for relaxation.
The studios are spacious, clean, and equipped with a kitchenette, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re enjoying the sea views from your balcony or a quiet moment on the patio, it’s an ideal spot to unwind. The staff are wonderful, always friendly and eager to help with anything you need. Their warm hospitality truly makes you feel at home.

New and clean accommodations with a nice style, comfortable. The 10 minutes walk to the beach is not very comfortable due to the unpaved road and the dust every time a car passes by but that was a minor issue. The owners are a very nice couple, thank you !

The location is great: it overlooks a very nice beach with crystal clear water and never too crowded.
The house is big and every day is cleaned, the kitchen has everything to cook comfortably. Although there is no village nearby I personally really liked the location, there are three taverns nearby and since there is little lighting in the evening you can see the stars.
We had a very good time, we were sorry to leave. Absolutely recommended for those who want to stay in quiet places.
It is the perfect place for those who seek peace and only want to hear the sea. You need a car to get to the location. The room I stayed in was impeccable: daily cleaning, bed linen and towels changed often, the kitchen equipped with everything necessary, and the view from the balcony and the silence, make all the money!!!

Amazing location. It is such a quiet spot of the island yet provided with a few tavernas and a minimarket. The room was rather big and fitte with a kitchenette and fridge with all you need to cook a proper meal or just prepare some breakfast. The entire place was incredibly clean, and the room was spotless. This place has that family-run business vibe that makes you feel at home. Stefanos (the owner) is so kind and welcoming. He's constantly making sure you have all you need. We'll definitely come back.
Beautiful view from the veranda, near a nice sandy beach, calm area. The apartment is in Cycladic style, is nicely decorated and has everything you need in the kitchen. We are thankful for fruits and water that we got from our kind host when we came.
The apartment was new with a well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. A very beautiful beach was reachable after a short walk and the place was ideal for relaxed vacations. The host was very helpful regarding the major sights of the island, beaches and restaurants.
