Bob was an excellent host who showed us around the property, provided lots of local information for activities for us aa a family and a very useful guide book in the flat packed with information. The flat was impeccable, exceedingly well stocked with towels, kitchenware, toiletries. Not only were tea coffee and fresh milk in the fridge provided but cereal bars hot chocolates and even sweeties for the children. I cannot recommend this find highly enough. Thank you again Bob your generosity was gratefully received.
Central location, unexpected communal area which was just like home, fully equipped kitchen, dining table and sofa in lounge with a wood burner (and logs provided!) Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and freshly decorated. Area is quiet apart from the seagulls. Also a relatively secure area out the back to store bikes.
The property was very clean and the room was really nice. The bed was comfortable and spacious, there was an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The mini fridge and TV were also really nice. I loved the room. There was a clean and large kitchen with lots of cutlery and pans to use, and the living room was nice too.
Superb view, plenty of space, well equipped with modern kitchen and bathroom. Very useful to have an allocated parking space. Close to all the attractions in Whitehaven and a short drive to the best parts of the Lake District. Bottle of Prosecco much appreciated.
Great location for starting our coast to coast bike ride. Friendly hosts, very helpful when I left something behind (posted it back to me with no charge!).
Well equipped kitchen.
Very nice sitting room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom for all guests on ground floor. Generous and tasty and fresh supplies of food for all guests to use. Very clean, and the lady who came in each day was helpful and friendly. Excellent level of comfort, and right in the heart of town. Very good facilities in the kitchen, making it an excellent compromise between hotel and self-catering base.
