Monkstadt No 9 - Pretenders Escape, hotel in Isle of Skye

There's a picnic area and guests can use free Wifi and free private parking.

The property is gorgeous and quiet. The room in specific overlooked the ocean which was amazing at sunrise abd sunset. We had all of the comforts of a hotel and more since it had a full kitchen abd living room. We loved that they had tea stocked in the room which saved us from going out for it. It was in a perfect location to go to any of the many hiking locations on skye.

Lampay Chalets, hotel in Dunvegan

Offering sea views, Lampay Chalets in Dunvegan offers accommodations, a garden, and barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the vacation home for the convenience of those who stay.

We enjoyed the seclusion of this property. The chalet was perfect and clean with extras such as fresh hens eggs, homemade jam, homemade pastries, milk, coffee, and tea. Karen provides a surprise for those who stay for at least four nights! Karen and John encouraged us to get out and about on their property including interacting with the days old lamb, petting the pigs, and collecting hens eggs. My husband, nicknamed Anchor Man by Karen, took him with her on the quad to check on the sheep before sunset. It was lambing season and the ewes and lambs were checked on throughout the day. They took us on a tour of their property and up to the top of the hill for awesome views. Karen and John were always available to answer questions about their work and about the area. Our four days there went too quickly! We plan to return! May your anchors always hold fast and your boomerangs return to ye.

Lealt Falls Apartment, hotel in Highland Council

Offering a garden, Lealt Falls Apartment provides accommodations in Culnacnoc. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The location of the apartment was absolutely phenomenal! The apartment was a great home base for hiking and all our Isle of Skye adventures letting us stay closer to hikes and nature without being too far away from restaurants and a grocery store. The apartment was beautifully stocked for our arrival and we definitely made use of the warm loaf of bread, cereal, milk, and OJ left for us. Having a small stovetop and oven made it easy to be self sufficient making hot breakfasts and enabling us to easily pack lunches.

Lealt Falls House, hotel in Highland Council

Offering a garden, Lealt Falls House provides accommodations in Culnacnoc. There's a picnic area and guests can use free Wifi and free private parking.

The best part of this property is it’s very convenient location to our destination, the Old Man of Storr hike. Our goal was to make it to the top by sunrise, and because this place is located less than a 10 minute drive from the parking lot for that hike, we were successful. We unfortunately arrived when it was dark and left before it was light outside, so we were unable to take in the fantastic views that surround the property, though we could make it out slightly in the darkness. Simply stunning location. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The homemade bread and jam that was provided was delicious and much appreciated. It gave us the extra boost we needed to make it to the top of the hike. Though we didn’t need it, it was nice that there was a washer provided. Perfect for those who are backpacking and have limited space. We were a little confused about where the lock box was with the key. Here are some tips: Please know that if you’re checking into the House portion of this property (not the apartment) you park in the driveway that is off to the left and down a small hill next to the house. Owner suggests you back in. You actually walk through the front door first, which will bring you to an alcove with two doors, the house portion on the left and I believe the owners portion on the right. The lock box is on the left inside that alcove. Hope that helps.

This was self-catering. We liked the cleanliness, the well-supplied kitchen, the gracious use of the laundry, the views from the upper floor, the wifi, and the nearby restaurants.
