Location was perfect for us as we explored both west and east coast. Everywhere we wanted to go was within 1 hr drive.
I had an accident that broke one if the shoe racks at the point of leaving 😪 and after informing owner was met with a very positive response (thank you) would definitely recommend and will be back myself next year.

The historic manor is a unique location. The massive garden is wonderfully kept and beautiful. The Apartment is absolutely special with among others ancient stone flooring, well-equipped and very big kitchen, very stylish bathroom and many more. Also, it is huge.

It was self catering, but Magnus provided eggs, bread, milk and quite a few other groceries for us, which was above and beyond what we expected. Excellent
Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Although we went to the shops there was tea, coffee ect. and the hosts had kindly left a pint of milk and a cake for us.
The location was perfect for us as we wanted to attend the Dickensian evening. The action started as soon as we stepped out of the front door and the market square just a short walk. Perfect location for eating out too. The Kitchen cafe served lovely homemade food and The Cornish Arms served us an excellent Sunday lunch.
The breakfast was not available as it was the pulicans last night running the pub and there was no kitchen available. They did arrange a breakfast for me with a local cafe.
Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Lovely property, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was very comfortable. Huge bathroom. Wood burner made it lovely and cosy in the comfortable lounge. Well stocked kitchen.
Tavistock Lodge is perfect for an overnight stop. It is beautifully furnished and the bed is unbelievably comfy! The kitchenette is fine for a simple microwave meal and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly host.
