Greencourt Loft - The Cotswold Way, Stroud, hotel in Stonehouse

Boasting river views, Greencourt Loft - The Cotswold Way, Stroud features accommodation with a balcony, around 22 km from Kingsholm Stadium.

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds with an extremely friendly and knowleable host. The loft is fully fitted out with a well fitted-out kitchenette (except oven) to allow self-catering if desired. Close to amenities and local hostelries although a car is recommended. Covered car parking space. Good selection of food provided to prepare a coninental breakfast. The loft is a welcome change from the normal standard hotel room and great value for money. The wife fell immediately in love with it and will definately be back if in the area.

Brynor house in the Cotswolds sleeps six Forty five minutes drive to the Roman city of Bath, hotel in Stonehouse

Set in Chalford in the Gloucestershire region, Brynor house in the Cotswolds sleeps six Forty five minutes drive to the Roman city of Bath has a patio.

Brynor House was a lovely apartment, we took my parents and 2 older teenage boys and it was very spacious. We wasn't on top of each other at all. Having the sofabed to the side of the lounge in its own little area made it another bedroom so plenty of room. The location is amazing, it is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. We walked down and found the Lavender Bakehouse which was great and we had some delicious goodies. We went to The Lamb Inn pub a couple of times and played darts and the view from there is wonderful. We did have a slight issue but within minutes of messaging Nick and Lynda they were there and we couldn't fault them, such lovely people. Overall loved it and wished we had more time to explore the beautiful village.

Old Fleece Apartments, hotel in Stonehouse

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Old Fleece Apartments is situated in Stroud, 19 km from Kingsholm Stadium and 27 km from Cotswold Water Park.

Very friendly staff and great welcoming on arrival. The rooms and beds were comfortable, was worried about sleeping above the pub/restaurant and on main road as I am a light sleeper...did'nt hear a thing and had a great quality sleep each night. The location was great too for visiting scenic areas, close to Stroud and good place to stop on route to Bath. The food in the restaurant, we ate there both nights, was excellent. Quality delicious food cooked by an excellent chef. Very pleased we booked there, two friends with two small dogs....the fire escape led directly onto a small same level garden that we could easily take the dogs out onto...when we needed to pop out with them..though needed their leads. Will be returning! 😊

The property was great. We had a lovely warm welcome. There is an exceptionally comfortable bed. It was really cosy. The kitchen functioned very well (there is just a combo microwave but this is clearly stated in the advert so wasn’t a problem). It was so nice to have a fridge you couldn’t hear all night. The view from the balcony was great of the setting sun. Provided breakfast was tasty.

Lovely house, very atmospheric, spacious ,situated in a nice quiet village but very close to all local amenities . The only noise you can hear in the morning is birds’ singing. We’ve all absolutely loved the dining area where we could sit and enjoy our time together. Well equipped kitchen. The owner has kindly agreed to let us check out later as we had a birthday’s celebration the previous night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you very much!

Stayed in the cottage which was clean, comfortable and well ‘kitted out’. In particular, the kitchen and bathroom were really well designed. Met all of our needs. A spiral staircase led to the bedroom. We thought it was a nice feature but it wouldn’t be accessible for all. The beams in the ceiling also took some getting used to! We ate in the pub restaurant twice and enjoyed really lovely meals. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The cottage is self-catering. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, the living area is comfortable and the shower is excellent. The location suited us for access to Slimbridge, for a couple of nights. Easy parking.
