The staff were really welcoming and helpful. It had everything you'd expect from a budget hotel - in addition it was also stylishly decorated, clean and set in a nice relaxing leafy location with free parking. Each floor has a communal kitchen which is brilliant for self catering.
The communication from the host was very reassuring and helpful. There was space for plenty of people and great value for money. The kitchen was well equipped and great for self catering, although there were many options for eating nearby. The beds were really cosy. I particularly liked the living room as a cosy, well presented place to be. It was such a quiet flat, despite the main road.
Superb hostel set in a quiet residential area of Upperthorpe. For those on foot arriving into Sheffield railway station there is a metro you will need to board the metro to Malin(blue zone) ask for Infirmary road stop. £2.00 single fare. The dormatories are clean with a shared bathroom also very clean. There is a self catering kitchen and laundry facilities.
Located in the perfect place for us- near to Sheffield and just on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We had very comfortable beds and sofas. It was warm and cosy; the decor suited the location. The shower was excellent. We had everything we needed for a self catering break with a well equipped kitchen. There were some useful books and games- and a map- as well as Sky with Netflix on a good sized TV. The pub (less than 100m) away provided good food and a selection of real ales.
Great location for what we wanted but facilities severely lacking. Needed several more things in the kitchen if it really wanted to be for self catering.
For parents wanting an authentic student experience, this provides a good way to see the way of living for your young people. The room was tidy and the linen and the bathroom were clean. there was a self-catering kitchen - but we did not have notice, nor was their equipment to take advantage. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea.
very newly converted into apartments, so very new and fresh. very well appointed, furniture, storage and lovely ensuite bathroom. for those self catering, again very good kitchen with washing machine, cooker n hob and with essential cutlery and beverage making facilities. highly recommended.
