Beau Rivage, hotel in St Brelade

Situated in the centre of St Brelade’s Bay, Beau Rivage offers self-catering suites with en-suite facilities and free WiFi.

The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early on our first day and leave late on our last day which meant we were able to make the most of our 5 day stay. The view of the beach was phenomenally good. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished and they had left a welcome basket of Jersey delicacies for us to enjoy. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make our Christmas break feel special! The kids particularly enjoyed the pool table downstairs and the easy access to the beach.

Durrell Wildlife Camp, hotel in Trinity

Boasting lake views, Durrell Wildlife Camp features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.8 km from Bouley Bay Beach.

For wildlife fanatics, this is a magical experience. You can wake up to the sounds of Howler monkeys or even Flamingos with a dawn chorus, you then have unlimited time within the wildlife conservation park to enjoy seeing animals, birds and reptiles that without the help of parks like these could become extinct. While we were here, there were six talks daily, including the Orangutans, where the programme was explained in detail with enthusiasm by their individual keepers. The clamping experience is one I should like to repeat, the tents are large, with a double bed for couples, and for families, there were sites with a teapea for kids as well. They have a woodburning fire for the cooler months, which quickly warms up the tent whilst you prepare your evening meal in your individual kitchen. Each tent has its own separate shower and toilet, making the whole experience a lot different from what I remember camping as from childhood. For a different experience, I would highly recommend it.

The very friendly and halpful staff. The cleanlieness and especially the mini kitchen in the room. The personal touches as in taking my case to the room etc. I found the matress too hard which was very uncomfortable for me but of course I realised too late that they could have tried to sort this for me if I had alerted them.

Great, friendly staff. We were given the family room which has a fridge and though no view, was quiet. They made us a lovely packed breakfast for our last morning. There was a fan in the room which was needed due to being over the kitchen. Greek restaurant was excellent and breakfast were great.

The hotel was clean and in a good position for local amenities. The food from the restaurant on the 1st night was very good, based on that we stayed to eat the next night. This time not so good with cold food that had to go back to the kitchen to be heated. Breakfast was exeptional. Excellent veiw from the balcony. Good range of beers etc and comfortable surroundings in the bar etc

The property is very nice, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The kitchen area is well appointed with all the appliances you would expect. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom clean and with decent sized shower. The apartment I stayed in had a balcony with views over the marina. The apartment is in a great location with easy access to local transport links and only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and into the city centre. The staff were helpful and polite.

Ideal location close to town and harbour. Sunday evening good music in the bar. We had an early flight to catch and although breakfast doesn't normally start until 8:30. The kitchen was ready for us at 7:00 as requested. Super service.

Breakfast was self catering. There was a well stocked kitchen with a mini market close by. The location was fairly good, about a 10 minute walk to St. Helier town centre. The beach was very close with a couple of bars and cafes on the front.
