Apartment is very large and comfortable with all amenities one could expect. Basic provisions provided were very good. Beautiful gardens surround the property with stunning views over Minehead. Only a 10 minute walk to heart of Minehead from the property and only slightly more on return due to the hill. An invigorating return walk.

We stayed at the lovely Smiddy cottage for 4 nights, it was the perfect size for us and our pup and great location to explore Devon! The owner was so lovely and really helpful and the family have 2 very friendly dogs. The cottage was lovely and cosy, especially with the wood fire burning in the evenings! There's some lovely local villages where you can find a couple of tea rooms, pubs and a local shop for essentials. We would highly recommend for a break away!

We stayed two nights and wished we had booked for longer. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed and sofa and spotlessly clean throughout. Owner was very friendly and helpful but left us to enjoy our holiday - perfect!
Nice property in a lovely location. Kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay, the beds were very comfy, wi-fi worked well, nice garden at rear with table and chairs. It was very quiet with amenities on your doorstep eg choice of pubs and shop in walking distance.
Delightful studio, tucked away off Porlock high street and convenient for everything - shops, pubs, restaurants and the Coast Path - but also very quiet. Private parking less than 100 metres away (a rarity in Porlock), sparkling clean accommodation with a fully equipped kitchenette, excellent shower, and a sweet little courtyard garden. Sally the owner was charming too. Lowerbourne House Studio ticked all the boxes!
Perfect location for walking the coastal path & exploring the local area. Beautifully quiet but only 10minutes walk into Porlock to access the shops and buses. Large, fully equipped kitchen / diner, and surprisingly large rooms for a cottage. Delightfully furnished & kind, friendly owners who live locally. Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for a family of four. We hope to return!
Facilities meant you could use the little kitchen for tea/coffee and a sandwich. Exactly what is needed. WiFi was great also which allowed me to do a little work to finish up.
Self catering facility; kitchen adequate for our needs - would have appreciated a draining rack to stack washing up & a tea towel. Kettle - functional but not good for pouring. Good selection of accessories in cupboard.
Main room felt spacious. Some nice additional touches - books/games/ biscuits/wine.
