I liked everything about the property. The house was lovely and clean and the fact there was a toilet downstairs was definitely a bonus.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Property
I booked this property a month in advance to avoid any last-minute issues during my trip. However, one day before my stay, the owner emailed me asking to cancel the booking. I immediately called her to clarify, explaining that I had booked so far in advance to avoid exactly this kind of problem. She eventually agreed to honor the booking but also offered an alternative property if I preferred.
On the day of the booking, I received no check-in instructions—no lockbox code, nothing. I had to call her again, only to be told the property wasn’t cleaned yet and she suggested I use the alternative property. I drove 20 minutes to the second location, only to find the lockbox open. Inside, the property was filthy, with dirt everywhere, and part of the ceiling was missing—it was clearly under construction and uninhabitable.
I called her multiple times with no response. Frustrated, I drove back to the original property, which she had promised would be cleaned by 2:00 PM. By the time I arrived, it was nearly 3:00 PM. She finally answered my call, claiming her phone wasn’t nearby, and said the property was still not ready. I waited another 20–25 minutes, only to be told the cleaners hadn’t even arrived yet.
At this point, I gave up and requested a cancellation with a full refund. She agreed but insisted I contact Booking.com customer service to process it. My entire day was wasted, and I ended up booking a Premier Inn at the last minute.
This was an absolute nightmare and a complete waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

Very close to the Mailbox (1 min walk) and to the train station. We loved the coffee machine and the snacks offered for free to us, including 2 bottles of water. Warm and cozy inside and clean. The communication with the host was easy.

The location for the hospital is excellent and walkable. The rooms are spacious.
Self-catering accommodation gives you the freedom and privacy that’s needed to enjoy a well-earned break. From modern apartments and luxury villas to beach huts and eco-lodges, the options are seemingly endless. Cook in your kitchen, read in the garden, or chill on the sofa and watch TV – however you choose to spend time, you’ll feel right at home.
Lovely property, nice layout. Clean towels provided. Beds were nice. Plenty of storage room if you were staying for a few days. Nice kitchen though we only used sink and kettle.
The owners easily contactable. We were kept up to date throughout process prior to checking in and after any issues were dealt with professionally and very quickly. Kitchen facilities exceptional, bonus of downstairs loo, liked the garden to have a coffee in the morning. Offered 25% off next booking. Would recommend.
The building is so nice and modern! The room was comfortable, clean and of high specs. Shower was incredible. I found the breakfast really well thought out, especially not having a kitchen, it was nice to be able to have all the necessities including bread, various spreads and delicious coffee pots! However, if I would have stayed more nights, it would have been awkward washing the dishes as there is only the bathroom sink (didn’t feel comfortable washing food away in the bathroom).
1 the bedroom looking very relaxing and comfortable and the colours were amazing
2 bathroom was lovely and relaxing and the colour where lovely
3 kitchen was amazing love the style feel and posh look
4 patio doors and patio were exceptional and luxury feeling
Very quirky design features which showed that a lot of effort had gone into making the rooms attractive.
The lady on reception/kitchen was extremely helpful and kind.
The parking is ample, rooms are big enough for 2 people, maybe even 3, with reasonably equipped kitchen and spacious living room. The area is very quiet and safe for parking, especially if you are traveling with equipment.
The staff were very friendly and attentive and ever so helpful, often going above and beyond eg printing tickets for us. The kitchen served good honest food at decent price. Breakfast was everything you expected
