Everything…the location, the excellent apartment with a great kitchen, the friendly staff, the restaurant on site… It’s like a home away from home. We had the apartment with a bedroom and alcove bed.

The location was great. I could see Edinburgh Castle from the front door and was also a short walk to Princess Street. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

Well stocked (e.g. toiletries in the bathroom, food condiments in the kitchen, towels, ironing board, hairdryer, spare bedding etc in the bedrooms).
A home away from home…. will definitely use again when returning to the area.
Superb location for Edinburgh marathon. Bus stop right out side with buses every 10 mins into Edinburgh. Room was perfect and the communal kitchen was perfect for breakfast pre marathon.
Enjoyed a 10/10 Sunday roast at the ship inn bistro after the marathon with drinks in the ship inn bar.
The view is just gorgeous here. The location is great for getting into Edinburgh on main bus routes. Beds were comfy and showers good. The living area was super comfortable and the dining area was great, with a well equipped kitchen.
We travelled with 3 young children and had more than enough space and it was a lovely comfortable place to relax when we weren’t out.
The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee,biscuits,cakes and cereal, and kettle. The bonus of a kitchen with table, benchs ,sink and fridge and chairs was very good. The staff were very helpful too.l would definitely recommend it.
Updated rooms, excellent shower with hot water and good water pressure. Shared kitchen/dining area with sky light and mini fridge. Great location, can take a bus directly from outside the inn to downtown Edinburgh.
A second return to this property after 12 days. We were not disappointed. Near the sea, shops, restaurants, and supermarket across the road. Four choices of frequent bus routes into the city. No need for a taxi. The bonus is the shared kitchen for preparing a hotel provided light breakfast.
