The Lang Toun Bothy- by the Sea & Near Edinburgh, hotel in Kirkcaldy

Offering a garden and garden view, The Lang Toun Bothy- by the Sea & Near Edinburgh is located in Kirkcaldy, 44 km from EICC and 45 km from Camera Obscura and World of Illusions.

We had the pleasure of staying here around Christmas, and it was a great time! As soon as we entered we felt very much at home and more than welcome. The owner had put down a very sweet and delicious welcome package for us; a great gesture! Everything was wonderfully clean, the house is decorated with great taste and luxury and has a lot of real Scottish details. We could watch/stream our favorite Christmas movies and cook a delicious meal in the beautiful kitchen. There are enough supermarkets in the town, there are many possibilities for walking (e.g. along the Fife Coast) and it has a cozy atmosphere. Communication with the owner was great! We actually didn't want to go home ;-) An absolute must!

Beautifully furnished and spacious. Big bathroom with great shower. Kitchen well equipped. Felt lovely and clean throughout . We visited to attend the Taylor Swift concert in Edinburgh and it was easy to drive to the Park and Ride and get to Murrayfield and into the city. If we had more time we would have loved to explore the Fife costal path and villages which looked beautiful. We would definitely come back and use Linton as our base for exploring.

The cottage was much larger than it appears from the outside! Simply and comfortably furnished with an immaculate, well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. It was great to be cosy by the stove while the wind was howling outside and beautiful views from the kitchen over the countryside towards the sea.

Seabreeze was super clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Perfect location for exploring and relaxing. Smart TV and board games for the family plus lots of snuggly blankets and books for me. Well equipped kitchen which we hardly used as plenty of nice cafes, restaurants and delivery services nearby. Nathalie was very friendly and quick to help in any way. Would definitely recommend and return!

Everything. It was central and in walking distance for all restaurants and shops. It was an entire flat to ourselves. Easy parking and easy instructions from the owners. I would definitely book again. All facilities from coffee / tea to even having shampoo in the bathroom. A fully functional kitchen and three bedrooms. I can say more it is a must stay accommodation.

Without doubt the finest building we have ever stayed in. It oozes history and grandeur but is cosy enough for a short break with the family. There was nothing we didn't like - comfy sofas and beds, fires to warm the main room, a spiral staircase for fun, well stocked kitchen, easy on-road parking, lovely and helpful housekeeper. We will definitely return here in future. Well done Fife Historic Buildings - great work!
