Great location high above the town, the views are stunning from the deluxe windows.
Parking included which is always a bonus.
Well equipped to self cater, and close to the local bars and restaurants.
It is a steep path down to town and back up, fine if fit, but not great for those less able.

We loved the quirkiness of Quirky Cottage - the character features, the uneven floors and the coziness. The decor is calming and the sofa is super comfy. It is light, airy and welcoming. The heating is really efficient and the cottage warms up very quickly when coming back from a day’s walking and the wood burner is fab! The water pressure is great - lovely shower and bath and the bed, although a little soft, was comfortable and we slept really well. The only thing I can think of that was missing was a wooden spoon!
The location worked well for us - we had 3 very different walks without much driving.

The location is fantastic. We were parked about 100 yards away so it was an easy walk.
The décor was lovely, and, appointments and facilities are great. Subtleties such as complimentary soaps, etc., are always nice. Documentation for usage of facilities was good.
The bed was comfortable too.

Good sized bedrooms and large bathrooms. Very comfortable sitting area, nice well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed the outdoor space. Grasmere was a very central location for visiting other towns in the area.
The apartment was adorable, offering gorgeous views of the village and mountains. There is a charming gallery on the ground floor and plenty of cafes and shops nearby. I loved the style and furnishings of the place. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed.

Beautiful accommodation. Huge living room and kitchen has everything you need for self catering. Main bedroom bed very comfortable and bigger than a king-size.
Excellent hostel. Everything was extremely clean, common spaces (2 self-catering kitchens, lounge) were great. Plenty of shared toilets/showers. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. It was very quiet during my stay. The staff were very friendly and gave good tips for hiking paths. Great location. I cannot recommend it enough.
