Beautiful location, a short stroll from Chatsworth House and a 4 mile walk to Bakewell. An uphill walk to Baslow Edge and the Eagle Stone, a nice circular walk to Grindleford. Three lovely pubs close by. The cottage is spacious with a lovely bath and a great place to sit beside the river with a morning tea. Hosts were great let us park early and brought us milk and bakewell tarts !

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

Lovely large room with small kitchenette, always useful! Very clean and comfortable and the host was lovely. Breakfast was super as well. Spectacular views and good food for evening meals at the pub next door.

The location is great for exploring the Peak District. Eyam village has a lot of fascinating history. The view was spectacular and we were blessed with some great weather
Located in an amazing area, picturesque views on your doorstep. Huge room, with a huge bed which is always the best surprise. There was even a small kitchen area and a fridge. Host was kind and very helpful, accommodated dietary alternatives at breakfast.
Great location just a short stroll from the heart of the wonderful village of Eyam. Our hosts were very helpful too when we arrived by providing us with the door code. Really nice facilities as well such as two bathrooms (one with a bath), very comfy beds, a very comfy and spacious living area and fairly well equipped kitchen.
