Clemency and Lennox are great host.Had a really wonderful stay at Bass Rock Pod. The pod was absolutely perfect for us as a family- so well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with absolutely stunning views in the middle of nature. We really loved having a tour of the farm and got to spend great time with the hosts. Enjoyed some produce from the farm too :)

Gorgeous little flat in a perfect location. Couple of minutes walk to the train station so perfect for hopping in and out of Edinburgh. The kitchen contained everything you'd ever need. Fantastic view of the sea from the window. The lounge was very comfortable with great choice of channels on the TV, perfect for relaxing in after a day in Edinburgh. Bedroom was lovely. Overall a great place to stay for a great week away.

We actually didn’t end of staying in the property because it had not been cleaned and it looked as if some one was living there. After an 8 hour journey this was not what we needed.

Cook in your kitchen, read in the garden, or chill on the sofa and watch TV – however you choose to spend time, you’ll feel right at home.
The location was convenient for all parts of Dunbar and close to bus stops, the rail station and shops. Although the flat is located above the High Street, there was very little noise in the evening. From the kitchen window there is a view across the Firth of Forth, over the Bass Rock towards the shores of Fife. All the furniture is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped.
Fabulous, quirky decor, really imaginative and creative - but also extremely comfortable and inviting. A lovely sunny courtyard with tables and chairs, and a brilliant, well-equipped kitchen. Complimentary breakfast thrown in, Spotless bathrooms.
Absolutely great, loved the tv fish tank. Clean room with lovely facilities, kitchen was great, good variety of food and snacks available. Secure bike store as well.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The staff were so kind and accommodating, very comfy beds with plug sockets right next to each, perfect location (walking distance from harbour and 10 minute drive from Dunbar beach) and everything was exceptionally clean. The basic provided breakfast was lovely, and there were great facilities for self-catering.
The twin room was pretty spacious with a lovely sea view, and the retro decor throughout the hostel was very cool.

Delightful stay! The staff couldn't have been more helpful, my room and bathroom were both super clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, all the vintage decor and extras are wonderful. Overall excellent vibes, couldn't recommend it more highly.
Lots to love in this self catering hostel - the staff were super friendly and helpful, the decor amazing and interesting, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, and it was very clean and comfortable. Very happy with my choice!
If you're visiting Dunbar this is a perfect central location. It's a self catering hostel but they provide basic breakfast ingredients ie cereal, bread, tea and coffee. Good kitchen facilities and a nice area to sit and eat your own food or something from one of the restaurants (fish and chips, Indian, Italian or Chinese) on the High Street.
I can't recommend the Dolphin Inn highly enough. From arrival to departure, the staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We were helped with excellent tips on local walking routes and places to eat and drink. The accommodation is well suited to a longer stay, with the kitchen and dining facilities being excellent for self catering. Dunbar itself is a fantastic town and well worth visiting.
I loved the location, but above all, pet friendly which was very important to us.
The host was friendly and chatty.
The self-catering kitchen was well equipped and there was even a complimentary breakfast that we didn't expect which was a good add-on.
