We had our own section of the property, really. A cozy bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. All separate from each other but adjacent. Host was very friendly and accommodated our last minute late arrival. Even managed to get us twin beds for our stay.

Perfect location for hill walking, quiet and secluded and close to essential facilities; excellent fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge; rooms spacious with good storeage, beds roomy and comfortable; sunny outdoor sitting area; hostel warm throughout; staff friendly, helpful and informative.
we had a lovely room in the hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to eat in the hotel, having reserved a table due to a flood in the kitchen. We were assisted to find an alternative restaurant 5 miles away.
Claire, she's the hostel manager living on-site, is one of the most friendly and hospitable woman I've ever met! Hostel is very conveniently located for West Highland Way hikers. Quite large shop around the corner (licensed), if you wish to use the very good self-catering kitchen. Pub at 5 minutes walk. Shared bathroom / showers are good and clean. Breakfast available.
