I had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, organised, and in a wonderfully quiet location that was perfect for relaxing. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find delicious cakes waiting for me, truly the best I’ve ever had! I called the host to thank her, and two days later, she surprised me with more cakes left by the door. Her kindness and generosity made the experience feel extra special—she’s truly one in a million!!

This is the perfect property for staying in to access the Lake District. It is superbly equipped, particularly the kitchen. The little extras in the bathroom were also a pleasant surprise. Karen, the owner, is very welcoming. The views are amazing.

Beautiful period cottage in fabulous location just outside of the lovely Cockermouth. Plenty of room to spread out in comfort. Great settees and big double beds. Kitchen well provided. Host very friendly and helpful.
The cottage was very comfortable and. was a perfect spot for two people. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen also had a washing machine, an essential when travelling for an extended period of time. We loved its position right by the river and every morning watched an egret catching its breakfast. The owner, Linda, was a pleasure to deal with.
The level of cleanliness in the property is fantastic. Easily the cleanest apartment we've ever rented. Nice furnishings and the living room/ kitchen penthouse has real character.
The house was very spacious and had an amazing living room amd kitchen. It was a perfect location to stay and as a base to explore Lake District. Fahim was on point with communication and we really enjoyed the stay.

The outside patio area is a great sun trap, and the comfortable garden lounge chairs were a great bonus! Donna was a welcoming, friendly and professional host during our stay.
