The flat is super clean and comfortable and larger than expected. The photos do not do it justice wish I had taken some to share. Beds are really comfy (if you like a firm bed), living space is great and kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We had to do a bit of cooking as kitchens at pubs close a bit earlier than we expected Nice easy walk to grocery, (go to the Co-op, bigger selection) so scenic and very quiet. Get lost walking off the main street it's such a cool neighborhood. Great instruction booklet in the flat to orient you to appliances. Host was very communicative even prior to arrival. Easy check in and out.and some goodies were left for us upon arrival to get us going which was helpful after the flight in from US and a drive in from the city.

The communication with the owner is prompt and clear. The owner let us check in early since the apartment is available and we arrived too early after getting off cruise ship. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat. It's right in the middle of the town on the side street. It's close to everything in the town. A very good experience.

Absolutely lovely stay! Lots of small personal touches. Really fabulous place!
The Lydgate was a lovely room with interesting pictures and outlook and an en suite bathroom. The bed was very wide. The second pillow could have been softer/thinner and thel ventilation fan in the bathroom a little less disruptive of a night's sleep but these are minutiae.
The evening meal was excellent. The breakfast (different team?) was somewhat tired and overcooked- we felt it was hanging around in the kitchen before being served.
The property is stunning throughout. The open plan kitchen area and full opening bi-fold doors on to a beautiful garden were a highlight of this property. Giving a great space to socialise during our stay.
The room contained its own kitchen area, which included a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Perfect for a short break if you like self-catering, which we do.
The hotel was nice and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
