Great location for exploring the Trossachs - Lake of Mentieth, Loch Katrine, Callander all special and worth visiting. Good food at the Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill and Nick's nearby. Our host and Hamish were excellent as was breakfast.

loved it all. Speechless, what a lovely place. One of the nicest stop over places I've ever stayed. Perfect in every way. Comfortable, convenient, would recommend it, and hosts are really welcoming too. Always travelled down south and back without stopping over!! Not any more now we have found this gem of a place.

These glamping pods were exactly what we needed after the big city vibes of Edinburgh. So peaceful, so quiet- the firepit and barbecue kit were wonderful, too! The view across the fields was rolling hills and green green countryside. There was also an incredible thunderstorm during our stay- and the pods gave us a full show without us being out in the lashing down rain. Great set up, great staff, great stay!

THE RIVER IS ALL OF A FEW MINUTES AWAY AS IS AN AWARD WINNING BAKERY/ CAFE AND MUCH MORE BESIDES. YOU CAN EVEN DO WHAT WE DID AND WALK DOOR TO DOOR FROM THE HOSTEL TO THE SUMMIT OF BENI LEDI - MAKING FOR AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC DAY.

Just a short walk to the Main Street however very peaceful and stunning scenery at the Riverside, ducks and birds in garden, made us smile.

Lovely split-level cottage in a good location. Had all the items needed to support our stay (kitchen basics, laundry etc). Great view out to the mountains from the upstairs lounge. Convenient for buses and local walks.
The location was nice and close to several points of interest, just few minutes driving. The staff was super nice, specially the bar tender that gave us the keys of the bedrooms and let us order food before taking us to our bedrooms as the kitchen was closing soon.
Immaculate cleanliness, thorough instructions. A lovely apartment perfect for any length of stay. A very well stocked kitchen and everything you could need for a very relaxing break.
We were in self catering. Dawn left a pint of milk in fridge, plenty tea, coffee, oil and salt and pepper. She also did my washing which was a great help as we were in Callander on the weekend when the laundry was closed.
We did a lovely bush walk each day, before heading into Stirling to catch up with friends. Great spot for relaxing. So glad we decided to stay at Arden House.
It was fantastic. We stayed in two of the lodges and they were so clean. They had everything you needed for self-catering - loads of kitchen utensils, different pans etc. They also provided a starter pack with ice in the freezer, teas, coffees, toiletries etc. Beds were very comfy. The location was fantastic, the grounds are so well looked after and its a quick walk into Callander. Kate was very friendly and helpful on arrival. 100% would book again and every one in the group wanted to come back!
