This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy!
We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays).
The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely!
Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

Lovely room. Very welcoming host. I would advise you BOOKING a taxi if you want to get into Buxton Centre in a good time frame as the property is a good 30 minutes walk away from Buxton Centre.

Host gave clear instructions and helpful advice on what to explore. Apartment was a peaceful cosy space with utensils needed for cooking. Decor was really cute, and there were ample areas to chill on (dining bench, couches etc). Great location in the centre of town

Beautiful apartment, well designed and clean, everything you need during your stay is there, fully equipped kitchen. Hot bath was a life saver after 10 miles daily walks over the hills. Highly recommended!

The host left lots of breakfast choices in a very clean kitchen. we paid for self catering. the breakfast dishes and tea and coffee being there made a real difference. The place was beautiful and spotless and the host was extremely helpful. The bathroom was perfect for us- both a walk in shower and a bath.
It was self catering accommodation which suited our purpose very well. Superb location, close to public transport and also the CBD. Also the gardens are very close. Extemely comfortable and all the kitchen necessities are available.
The property is in a very remote location, but that is what we were after. There is no mobile signal, but the Wifi connection was good throughout the property so that was not a problem. The apartment was clean, spacious and provided all the necessities one needs. The hosts even left a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge, a nice loaf of fresh bread. The heating worked well, and the bathroom very modern. The kitchen supplied the basics needed for self catering and we didn't want for much. All in all a good find for our needs.

Lovely tranquil location, ideal as a base for exploring the Peak District. Our self catering apartment (Windsor) has 8 beds in total making it ideal for a group of friends. Buxton only a short drive away for entertainment in the evenings. Well equipped kitchen ideal for cooking for a group. Comfortable beds especially the double in the main ensuite bedroom. Nice outside seating areas. Wifi worked perfectly well. Unobtrusive yet helpful and accommodating hosts. Great value for money.
It was a self catering apartment and the kitchen, which was fully equipped, was ideal as was the lounge area bathroom and bedroom, our location was about 5 minutes from the top of town and about 10 minutes from the theatre and gardens.
excellent location. Self catering house. Small upstairs and storage for bedroom limited to hanging rail. Beware steep steps to get upstairs . Shower room small and therefore got dressed in adjoining kitchen! Lounge/kitchen area more space and also used table in small conservatory to eat from . All else perfect and very convenient for train communications(fuel crisis during stay) and walk to centre of Buxton.
