Hargate Hall was luxurious. It was like stepping back in time whilst accompanied by modern day comforts. Our apartment was homely and we had complete privacy, giving us the feeling that we had our own personal part of this incredible historical home.
Anthony gave us the comfort that, whilst being given an independent and personal experience, he was on hand for any help, advice and support that we might have needed.
The grounds are beautiful! The location has the benefit of being isolated enough for peace and tranquility while also being very well connected to Peak District hot spots and nearby towns providing everything you might need for day to day necessities.

This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy!
We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays).
The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely!
Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

love that the property was near the railway station. It was an old converted bank. Right near all the shops and businesses. Beautiful views from the windows. Lovely bathroom. Calm and comfortable.

The kitchen was well equipped for us. And it was centrally located within walking distance of the town and shops.

The host left lots of breakfast choices in a very clean kitchen. we paid for self catering. the breakfast dishes and tea and coffee being there made a real difference. The place was beautiful and spotless and the host was extremely helpful. The bathroom was perfect for us- both a walk in shower and a bath.
It was self catering accommodation which suited our purpose very well. Superb location, close to public transport and also the CBD. Also the gardens are very close. Extemely comfortable and all the kitchen necessities are available.
The property is in a very remote location, but that is what we were after. There is no mobile signal, but the Wifi connection was good throughout the property so that was not a problem. The apartment was clean, spacious and provided all the necessities one needs. The hosts even left a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge, a nice loaf of fresh bread. The heating worked well, and the bathroom very modern. The kitchen supplied the basics needed for self catering and we didn't want for much. All in all a good find for our needs.

Lovely tranquil location, ideal as a base for exploring the Peak District. Our self catering apartment (Windsor) has 8 beds in total making it ideal for a group of friends. Buxton only a short drive away for entertainment in the evenings. Well equipped kitchen ideal for cooking for a group. Comfortable beds especially the double in the main ensuite bedroom. Nice outside seating areas. Wifi worked perfectly well. Unobtrusive yet helpful and accommodating hosts. Great value for money.
It was a self catering apartment and the kitchen, which was fully equipped, was ideal as was the lounge area bathroom and bedroom, our location was about 5 minutes from the top of town and about 10 minutes from the theatre and gardens.
