Menstrie Castle Stay, hotel in Bridge of Allan

Menstrie Castle Stay enjoys a location in Stirling, 21 miles from Lake of Menteith and 30 miles from Glasgow Cathedral.

The apartment is very comfortable. The ‘Dungeon’ laundry room is very interesting. It was the only interior space that really said ‘castle’, besides the thickness of the walls.

Big big thanks for our stay at your amazing place. The pod was cosy, and clean and the views breathtaking! ⛰ Having the kitchen made for easy breakfast. We appreciated being able to have a shower and use the loo en suite too. I loved my mornings up at the reservoir with the Osprey fishing and Little Grebe dipping my favourite nature spots. We picked wild raspberries along the the way too 😋 Your animals made us smile 😃 and we enjoyed our chats with you about the local area. Thanks so much, hoping to visit again soon 🙏 The Carberys

Great location, beautiful views and felt very private. The pod had all we needed and more for our short stay. Super handy having the kitchenette and ensuite. Children loved seeing the animals and playing on the grass. Bridge of Allan has tons to offer in terms of food, drink and shops. Lots of things to do a short drive away. We managed to visit the Wallace monument, Stirling castle, Bannockburn and Scone palace in our three day stay!

Easy to access, very clean & modern. Spacious for the 3 of us. Liked the fact that all self-catering consumables were there so we didn't need the washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel and toilet rolls we took with us. Also had a small supply of tea, coffee & sugar plus toiletries to tide you over til you found a shop. Beds were comfy, more pillows available if needed. Light and airy being on open to 3 aspects. We would definitely recommend.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, comprehensively equipped and in a great location. It could have been difficult to find, but the host gave clear instructions to guide to the door. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and beautifully equipped. The kitchen/living room is adequately equipped with a powerful induction hob and microwave but don't expect to do more than basic cooking. The host is attentive and helpful, but discreet.
