Wonderful stay in gorgeous country with magnificent views. The accomodation had everything you needed. A fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and every gadget you could need to cook whatever you wanted. Great sitting area with wood burner and an extremely comfortable bed. Parking on site. 5 minutes to Lumphanan. 15 minutes to Banchory for Tesco. Wonderful hosts who you would not know were even there. Thank you Alison and Iain. We will hopefully be back.
Cosy tent in secure private ground with good views and quiet location. Lots of blankets provided to keep you warm. Adjacent to farm chickens, good fun for kids. Shop sells stuff you need to keep it going. Fully equipped Kitchen and bath are shared but you would max share with 1-2 families. Best of all the car park is equipped with electric charging station. Lots of trails to walk around.
A lovely house which is well equipped and well looked after. Great to look out over the woods and watch the birds on the feeder from the living room window or balcony. Very peaceful surroundings. The beds were comfortable. Lovely to have tea, coffee and sugar in kitchen. Children loved the complimentary box of biscuits. Husband grateful for the shower gel as he had forgotten his. Highly recommend this house.
We had a great 3 night stay. We met Sadie when we arrived and were made very welcome. The lodge was very well equipped and a great location. For an autumn stay it was warm and comfortable. We used it as a base for cycling days - close to Banchory shops it was easy to pick up food (the kitchen was great for cooking) and some evening takeaway options also open nearby. There were lots of little extras Sadie had very thoughtfully provided.
A very comfortable house, nice and warm ( which we we so pleased with ). We loved the upstairs bedroom arrangement with the two shower rooms which was perfect for our needs. The house was really clean with excellent kitchen facilities. It seems a minor point, but several toilet rolls were supplied in each of the upstairs toilets; we thought that was excellent attention to customer service. Although I only spoke to her on the phone, Susan was an excellent host. If we come to this area again, this is the first place we'd try to book.
This property was spotless and very comfortable. It had everything needed for a self catering stay and more. Thought had been put into providing a range of DVDs, Tea/Coffee and beds were exceptionally welcoming. Communication was excellent and directions clear.
