Exceptionally clean and excellent facilities. Location is lovely and the barn was cosy and comfortable.
Communication with Fiona was great and it was really helpful to have a list of amenities so we knew what to take. Instructions on how to find the barn were great too. The offer for dog sitting was lovely and although we didn't need it, the offer was appreciated.
The village is close to places of interest, but quiet and friendly with a pub walking distance and plenty of spots for the dog to walk and go to the toilet.
The layout of the barn is clever and it was nice to have a sofa to relax on in a bright, airy room upstairs. We were lucky to have warm, sunny weather so we made good use of the patio.

Central to Bakewell. Very clean and modern interior. Beds very comfortable. Excellent kitchen facilities. Plenty of hot water. Quiet and relaxing. TV fully functional. Home from home.
The room was great with exceptional views across Bakewell and very close to the town centre, we had everything we needed including a small kitchen area and table and chairs really nice
a very lovely village with amazing views all around. We went on hour long walks, extremely dog friendly all around us. We didn't find the cottage at first, but Sue was very kind and helpful! The care package was so sweet, we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was so cosy and inviting. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked so we could make anything and everything we desired! This was a great value for money in our opinion and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family and we ourselves will come back again :)
Comfortable room with a small kitchenette with kettle, fridge and microwave which was great for self catering breakfast. Maybe we were lucky but our room had good wifi. It was an easy walk into and back from the main streets.
The Cottage, whilst being very old, was perfectly clean & decorated to a good standard. The Beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. Everything was provided, the quality of the appliances was excellent in the kitchen, which ensures you have everything you need for a self catering stay. The welcome pack was very good. The smart TV & internet worked well. The cottage was exactly as described & provided quality, good value for money. The location was good with a short (up & down hill) to the town centre of Bakewell.
Location, fab views over Bakewell. Generally quiet, useful kitchenette for light breakfasts. Bathroom toilet has good flush and shower is ok. Ideal if you just want a room with a spot of self catering. Staff helpful enough.
Great room with well thought out self catering kitchenette. Appreciated the lovely toiletries and shower cap, biscuit and filter coffee. Great TV and big comfy bed with crisp white bedding. Great view out over the hills too. Good recomendations for food and drink - especially Sahil street food - on Market Street opposite the coop- amazing tatsy food and so reasonable and The Lavender Cafe for fantastic home made cakes.
