Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

Cottage was spotlessly clean had everything you needed for a self catering stay, spacious kitchen comfortable living room. Bedrooms had plenty of storage to hang clothes comfy beds.
Could not have asked for a better location, right in the middle of bars, restaurants and cafes.
The staff was friendly. We got 3beds room on the 3rst floor, mountain view through very dusty and spiders webs window. The breakfast was really nice. Self catering kitchen was well equipped.lots of basic showers and toilets.
The accommodation was great value as accommodation in Ambleside tends to be expensive and Barnes Fell was a better price than a lot of other self catering in Ambleside. Its good to have kitchen facilities and a fridge. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The shower was lovely and hot.
Great location right on the lake.Can't fault it for the price. Good cafeteria style brekkie so very quick to get fed in the morning and there is also a large kitchen for self catering.

Amazing to me that this place is so inexpensive given it is situated right on the water with prime lake views. The self catering facilities and kitchens were fantastic. The cafe/bar also had great views and was a nice place to relax. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. From our dorm room (my partner and I had it to ourselves due to low season) there was a beautiful view of the lake. 10/10 loved it.
