The property is very cute with a lovely private garden. It was within walking distance of Monet’s Garden. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hosts provided tea, coffee, and everything for a fabulous continental breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with great recommendations! We were very sad to leave!

It was situated in a charming, “ancien” chateau right on the quaint cobblestone street of Rue Claude Monet. October, and still the lane was filled with flowers! Véronique was an extraordinarily gracious host, offering to pick us up from the train station. We found the accommodations delightful—very cozy and well appointed, everything we needed in this sweet lair above her art studio. It was a 5 minute walk to Claude Monets gardens and home, and a 2 minute walk to the beautiful old church where he and family members were buried. We spent 3 days walking in the picturesque hills above Giverny, through farmland and forests. It was relaxing and quaint and slow-paced, a world away from Paris.

We arrived by car, finding it challenging to locate. No one was on site. We called out, but no answer. We entered the apartment that had been indicated for our stay. It was empty and dirty. Dirty dishes were in the sink and one bedroom wasn’t made up with the bed turned on its side. The toilet was nearly overflowing and there was a vacuum out in the middle of the kitchen. We called out and looked around, then called the phone number that had been provided no answer but we left a message. We did not hear from anyone within 15 minutes so decided to leave. The apartment was not to our satisfaction.

I loved the old buildings and basic facilities. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen basic but functional. We were comfortable as the weather was mild. It might be different during winter or a hot spell. The host Eric was very helpful. The fresh bread in the morning was very welcomed. The location was excellent right off Rue de Monet..
A perfect home from home, two beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms, all modern and new facilities, the kitchen was stocked with some bits for us to make breakfast and they had even bought a chocolate teddy bear for my daughter as well as some toys and colouring in the house. It is a stunning property and lovely people. So very helpful and the location was perfect for Giverny village and monets house and gardens.

Lovely place , clean, comfortable , well stocked kitchen , on the main street of a beautiful village that is quiet in the evening. We had the whole village to ourselves, and were able to be the first into Monets House and Gardens and the Impressionist Museum the next morning. Host was very helpful , explaining that there was no grocery etc in the town, so we stocked up in Vernon
Great location and very nice decor. The beds were very comfortable and I loved having my car in a secure parking area. We arrived quite late and it was nice to be able to walk down the street and find a lovely restaurant. We left early in the morning to go see Monet's garden and it was lovely just to stroll down the street to it. The kitchen had good facilities though I didn't use anything but the coffee maker.
