So many great things. The host is delightfully welcoming and helpful. The property is spectacular. It has the feel of an old house (which I loved), but all of the conveniences of a modern one - including, importantly, warmth in December! Food had been left for breakfast, and milk and various coffees and teas as well. The host gave us tips about where to go in the town to buy the local specialties that we wanted to take home for our extended family.

This has to be about the best place I have stayed in the last year! Host was actually waiting for me at the time I said I would arrive (and was very patient that I was late!!!). The apartment is very quiet, set way back from a pedestrian street, area feels very safe. Host very helpful throughout--- made Antequera a big favourite for me!

The best property we have stayed at in Spain! Beautifully decorated and clean, this was a perfect place to rest after a busy day. We didn’t want to leave. Everything is decorated vintage-style but comes with all kitchen gadgets including a dishwasher. The host even left us breakfast to eat. I could not recommend this place more! Very close to town, only a 1 minute walk and only 2 minutes to visit the castle and cathedral.
A lovely house with an even better outdoor space - gets the sun all day long and stunning views. The perfect place to relax - it is slightly isolated but that is to be expected when booking a holiday like this and there are shops and town nearby if needed.
The house is very well set up if travelling with a child - they provide cot, high chair and pram; and the house even has blackout blinds throughout. Kitchen spotless and really well equipped.
Roomy, clean, bright premises and well equipped kitchen. Interior parking space, which is a must have at this location. Short walk to city center, supermarket and the citadel. Communication with the host was excellent. Good value for money.
Communication via WhatsApp was excellent and the house was perfect for our 5 days in Antequera. Loved the roof terrace especially and the beds and pillows were very comfortable (firm but comfortable… I’m very fussy about beds and I didn’t have any problems at all). Modern kitchen and bathrooms. There was everything we needed in the house and the location means bars and restaurants are only steps away. Plenty of free parking in the town. Lovely views from every window and from the terrace. I liked the artwork too.
We were lucky enough to rent this beautifully renovated house in Antequera. The house was very clean and well equipped. The beautiful roof terrace with a view of the Alkazaba was also a big plus. We found Jaime, the owner, a very sweet person. Clean bedding, towels, nice kitchen and bathroom and a beautiful TV on the wall. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect, in the old town just under the Alcazaba. The apartment is small but cosy and very comfortable, with a well-equipped little galley kitchen in the main room, a comfy bedroom and a bathroom with a good shower. It’s the perfect base for a solo traveller or a couple wanting to spend a few days exploring Antequera, which is quiet but beautiful and fascinating.
