We stayed for one night to relax after going to the Spa in Agaete. The communication with the owner by Whatsapp was quick and reassuring. The owner was waiting for us, (we could park very close) and he helped us and explained how everything worked. The apartment is very spacious, very well equipped, with new decoration, new appliances, such as the kettle, toaster, coffee maker and very clean. We were very happy that there were no immediate neighbours. The jacuzzi was amazing and ready to go and the patio area is lovely and comfortable. We slept very well because it is very quiet in the night. The shower is very good too. We were very happy to stay there and we would recommend it to anyone.

Such a great welcome. Helped carry our bikes to the apartment. Welcomed us with a beer. Fantastic host. Really knew how to look after bike packers. Brilliant breakfast, prepared early so we could catch the ferry.

We felt at home in this traditional home within 5 mins, the house is comfortable and spacious. I loved the conservatory, I watched the sun come up every morning and enjoyed the last of the evening.
Pretty much everything we needed was supplied, soap, towles, shampoo, washing up liquid etc, (we brought our own laundry and dishwasher tabs).
We went to supermarket on the way, it's just at the end of the road which takes you up the mountain to the property.. it was a great idea, and we were able to get straight on with holidaying.
The pool is heated (in winter months), and long enough to get a good few strokes in, particularly nice after a long walk. There are a few walking trails locally, loads more just a short drive up the mountain.
We had great weather (in January), a bit cooler in the mountains than the coast and cool in the evenings, but it was great for us.. We had one day of wind and rain, but it looked to be nice on the coast.. we just enjoyed a restful, relaxing day.
We loved the animals and wildlife.. lots of garden birds, birds of prey and the roosters and chickens.. The (wild) cat is adorable, we were sad to day goodbye to her.
We highly recommend a drive toTejeda and Artenara (about 50 min drive) some truely amazing views and fantastic hikes. We also recommend Ageata, walk to headland and swim in the sea pools.
TV has lots of options for watching, if you want.

The house is really nice and cozy. It was quite cold in the mountains during our stay but the place had enough extra blankets.
Also we liked the area where the house is, however I agree that better to come there during daylight and have groceries with you because of mountain road.

The apartment is beautiful. Everything is new. It's nice and cool inside, so the lack of air conditioning is not a problem. The host is very nice and helpful. The view from the terrace and the pool is stunning. The location is good - quiet and outside of the centre, but everything is within walking distance. It's a 10-15 min. walk down the hill to the supermarket. The natural pools are 700m from the apartment, and you can continue from there to Puerto de las Nieves. There's a nice hiking trail just behind the apartment with amazing views of the coast.

Priceless views. Very comfortable apartment. Enough space for 4, preferable 2 adults + 2 children but would serve 4 adults as well. Spacious living room with kitchen and excellent outside area, small garden with sun chairs and terrass with table and chairs. Access to swimming pool with also stunning views. We had all we could need. Area is also perfect, close to port and center of the small town of Agaete, both ways 15-20 min walk. You gave parking place in the garage, waching machine etc. We would definitely come back.
Everything inside the house was clean, new or in good condition. In the kitchen all the tools were available. The thing I liked more was the sea view from the kitchen window.
The hostel is in the downtown of Agaete with a really cosy bar and nice plaza just next door. Parking is for free nearby and atmosphere in the city as well as in the hostel are super relaxed and friendly. We enjoyed the yoga class, sitting outdoors or relaxing in the hammock. The room was comfy and just a bit noisy due to the road close by. The kitchen is also well equipped.
We really enjoyed staying here. The views really are spectacular. It is a lovely house that is a nice size and was very clean. The facilities in the kitchen were great, everything you would need to cook, the best we have come across self-catering. We were also very grateful for the oils, herbs and spices already there.
The mattresses were very comfortable and the bedrooms had lots of storage.
We messaged the staff at one point and they answered straight away.
All in all, we would highly recommend this lovely place.
Stayed during Jan / Feb. Property was superb for our needs. It's a traditional village house which has been recently modernised by the owner, who met us on arrival. Comfy bed, excellent shower and all the necessary kitchen kit for a self catering holiday, plus a lovely roof patio (nice views) for sunny days. A few authentic tapas bars are nearby in the village or a 20 min walk to the Port provides more restuarants. Spar supermarket is about 10 mins walk from the property.
