Franz and his wife are exceptionally nice people and the whole place is very lovely. Beautiful self-built yurt with an amazing view over the lake. The location is very quiet and remote and we had a really great stay! They have two cats and a dog :) Breakfast is 15.- per person and we could choose from eggs, yoghurt, different breads and home made jam. We can definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a simple, but lovely night in the heart of the Swiss mountains.

We had an unforgettable time at the Panorama Jurte. The views of Uri Lake and the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The yurt was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the best part was Luna, their adorable and smart dog, who made us feel right at home. The place is truly pet-friendly—even our cat was welcomed, and as you can see from the photo, she felt like a queen soaking up all the good vibes! For other guests, there’s also the option of enjoying a Thai dinner or booking a massage to relax after a hike, which sounds amazing. Ideal for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a unique setting. We can’t wait to return!

This place is amazing! In the middle of Altdorf next to the Theatre.
The apartment is very big and well maintained. Very comfortable and quiet. The parking is a bit tricky to find but if you’re not sure just park at the COOP supermarket (it is next door) check in and ask the host how to get there.
Speaking of the host, Louisa is amazing and super friendly. Her restaurant is one of the best in Altdorf so make sure you try their food!

The host contacted us on the day of arrival through the Booking.com app with details of the lockbox to access the key - the details were accurate, but just to note that you use the door to the right of the lockbox, not the door where the lockbox is. The apartment was great, with a great kitchen/living space, that had everything we needed to cook with. The bathroom was spacious and had privacy glass. Although there weren't curtains in the whole kitchen/living space, there were blackout curtains in the bedroom. Overall, a great apartment with everything you need :)

Owner was kind enough to leave door unlocked as we were late to arrive due to blocked roads.

The location is convenient 3 mins away from Stoosbahn via Bus. The hosts are excellent, very welcoming and accommodating. The room and facilities (kitchen and bathroom) are super clean. And lastly the breakfast is magnificent, we are able taste some of their homemade goodies and local produce products.
Claudia and Andrew were fantastic. We arrived late, they kept the kitchen open and prepared an amazing meal. We were on a motorcycle trip and Claudia provided some great advise on the best roads to ride, we took here advise and the next day we had a brilliant ride through the Swiss Alps, thank you Claudia it was amazing.
