It was easily reached by tram ride from Bern HB station, around 3 to 4 stops. You can take tram number 7 or 8 towards Ostring or Saali, and walk from Thunplatz.
There was a supermarket around the corner.

Clever system to change the room space! Wow, we truly were impressed. Clean and comfy room, very modern. Very quiet with good soundproofing. Staff was very responsive, both on site and via WhatsApp. The communal kitchen has everything you need, coffees, jams and games. Loved the washing machine and dryer (free of charge). It is near the train station and the hotel provides you with public transport tickets so we didn't use the car to go down town. Will definitely come back!
Very comfortable private room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Within walking distance to the train and bus stations. Host was very responsive during our stay - we got locked out of our room on day 3 but she promptly came up to reset our locks and gave us a key card (probably missed out at the start). Other staff were around all the time to make sure the place is kept clean and were very kind to greet us everyday.
The hotel gives you the vibe of a fusion between bnb and a 3 star hotel. You get digital (online) keys to enter the hotel and your rooms which is a nice quirk.
The host is super friendly and helpful, the common area has a kitchen so you can make your own breakfast.
The location is the USP of the place, and you can get a panaromic view of the Bern skyline from the hotel roof.
Clean a lovely rooms we have been given. Roomy and clean bathrooms. Very secure room locks and best part was the Bern Pass which were pre-organised, Very welcoming atmosphere. Sense of trust and given a very good family feeling. Share kitchen and system of storage is very well thought of and have a lovely dinning room as well! Tram station right outside with around 3-4 minutes walk, convenient location to centre.
The staff there were extremely friendly and very accommodating! We could leave our bags in a safe place even after check out. The common kitchen was quite clean and had all the basic pots and pans you would need for cooking a simple meal.
