This is a nice apartment in a quiet residential area with great transport links to both the airport and the old town.
The apartment is on the top floor in the roof space of an older, charming residence but doesn't feel cramped as the room sizes and ceiling height are are good and there are plenty of windows, especially in the generous dining/living room. (One of the bedrooms has a lovely view of the mountains). It's simply furnished but has everything you need and is cosy and warm - much appreciated during our mid-December visit. As were the welcoming snacks, liqueur and punsch bottles left for us to try and the charming Christmas decorations.
The bus stop into the old town is just around the corner, with frequent buses that take about 10-15 mins to get to Herbert v Karajan Plaza at one end of the old town. Most of the main attractions are within easy walking distance from this spot and I'd highly recommend sauntering slowly along the Getreidegasse shopping street which starts nearby.
Villa Leopoldkron is at the top end of a one-way road so taxis have to turn off the main road and wriggle a bit to get to it and buses from the airport or returning from the old town drop you on the main road - about a 5-7 minute walk away. This main road is also where there are shops, a cafe, a good Italian restaurant and a grocery store.
We didn't meet Ingrid, our host in person, but she was very helpful, sending videos of the property and how to access the keys and during our stay, providing interesting suggestions of activities we hadn't found mentioned elsewhere.
Highly recommended for up to four adults.

Stayed in the Studio apartment which is actually a one bedroom :). Cute apartment and very clean. Grateful for the car park at the front of the building too. Pressure and temp of shower was great. We stayed just after Christmas and the little Christmas tree was a nice touch :)

We loved the location of this place the most! So great to be able to walk straight out into the main areas. Host was fantastic. The stairs to the room were a pain with 4 suitcases but a great place to stay for families!

Big and spacious - it can host 5-6 people, Equipped kitchen with hob, fridge, oven and dishwasher. 5 min walk from bus stop, overall 20-30 min from city centre by bus.
The room was very clean and was well designed to allow our family of three to enjoy Salzburg without breaking the bank. The kitchen was great for breakfast and some simple meals whilst we also took advantage of the laundry facilities having been hiking in the mountains prior to our stay. Very close to the train station and 20 minutes walking to the town centre or you could catch public transport from right out side the villa.

The room was large and bright - lots of space and natural light, and it was ready for us with the sofa bed made up for the children when we arrived.
Great little kitchenette, excellent storage space and room for a lovely table where we could sit.

Breakfast was lovely, food all very fresh with lots of choices and space to sit and enjoy both inside and outside.
Excellent rooms and common spaces, very good restaurant. The spa was great. he personnel was very accommodating to my late arrival and put together something even if the kitchen was closed.
The apartment is right in the centre of Salzburg. The keys are retrieved form the shop downstairs. The building is old but the flat is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped.
It is close to the railway station (6-8 minutes, there is a SPAR also). Beds are comfortable, quiet inside, guests were respecting each other. There is a refrierator with private boxes for each room in the small kitchen, electric cettle, capsule coffee, tea is provided. I think it is a good place to stay if you spend the whole day with sightseeing, hiking and all you need is a good bed to rest after.
I thought it much bigger than the photos, Bess really comfortable and the all into old town easy enough.

This was a good location for us, close to the train station and key bus stops, as well as walking distance to all the main sights. It was great to be able to use the kettle and fridge in the self-catering kitchen, which was never too busy. All the facilities were kept clean and the beds were firm but comfortable.
