We stayed in two apartments as a group of six and found them both comfortable and well-suited to our needs. The front apartment felt newer and more recently updated, while the back apartment seemed a bit older but still adequate.
The apartments had enough heaters and good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, the Main Street, and even the car rental place, making it easy to explore the area.
The neighborhood felt safe, and we always felt secure walking around. Our host, Guillermo, was outstanding—very helpful, friendly, and attentive. His wife’s brownies are incredible!
Overall, it was a great place to stay in El Calafate.

The property is very quaint and beautifully manicured. The location is perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast wasn’t anything special but it had all the basic needs.

So much to love about this place. To us, this accommodation was the magical combination of perfect unique spaces as well as kind, generous hosts.

~the location was excellent for us—very easy access to the bus station, nice ~15 minute walk into town, a beautiful distant view of the lake, a nice small market on the corner
~Ximena was an extraordinary hostess. She was attentive and communicative, providing so much good support, ideas and information for us to enjoy our stay and even other portions of our trip.

Communication was great. We had little misunderstanding on rate due to exchange rate but they honored the rate from booking.com. It was booking.com's fault and owner honored the rate. The staff waited for us really late since my flight was delayed and rental car place was late also. Very friendly and nice. Good heating and great location to get out of the city, El Calafate.

Nice location - a bit out of town but with a car it’s worth it cause you have great views of the lake! The staff are fantastic- really helpful, easygoing and friendly. The cabin is small but very cozy. There’s a small TV. The kitchen is simple but decent. The bedrooms are nice. Car parking next to your cabin.
The staff were really helpful and friendly and helped us to book a tour to the glacier with them for cheaper than we had found online, and a taxi to the bus station. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They provided free coffee and some basic cooking items such as oil. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and crockery - perfect for us as we cooked all of our meals during our stay.
Perfect location for the bus and not far from the centre of the town. Great helpful staff. Able to organise trips and buses to other destinations (they are also a tour company). Always being cleaned and shared kitchen for a hostel was very clean. Food box for guests to leave excess food for other guests to use. They responded immediately to a problem with a leak in the bathroom.
The tours they offer in the hostel are much cheaper than the ones you see on the internet or in agencies in the city center. I definitelly recommend taking a tour with the hostel, I did and it was really worth it!
The beds are comfortable, internet was okay, there is a very well equipped kitchen, clean toilets. Hot showers. Warm sheets.
This property was amazing. Such a great location, close to town and easy to get about both in the day and late in the evening. Very clean and lots of facilities in the kitchen to use which was great. Florencia is a fab host so helpful and friendly. When our flight was delayed she let us stay longer and we were very grateful!
