Situated in Lijiang and with Fang Guoyu's Former Residence reachable within 1.2 km, 思法特观景客栈 Sifat Viewing Inn features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi... I spent weeks researching hotels in Lijiang while considering other options in Shangri-la and HutiaoXia, and finally settled on Sifate Inn in Lijiang for my first 2 nights. The room/Inn/location was so perfect that I extended my stay to 10 nights, and here's why: A. The Inn An ideal base for day trips to Songzanglin Monastery in Shangri-la, a day hike down middle tiger leaping gorge, another day trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and other day trip to Baisha and Shuhe ancient towns. A century-old mansion with a central courtyard where fellow travelers can gather to exchange tips. B. The Room Recently refurbished with antique-style bed and furniture. A heated blanket kept the bed warm during the cold season. Portable air-conditioning allowed me to adjust the room temperature to my liking. Convenient power socket near the sink for boiling a hot noodle soup on rainy days. Four available power sockets in the room for charging my GoPro, iPhone, and DJI drone. In-room router was perfect for uploading videos to the internet. Crystal-clear groundwater from the basin tap when boiled was safe to drink and tasted so good that I preferred it over the bottled water. C. The Location A short walk to the many entrances to Lijiang Old Town. Public Bus number 2 loops around the old town with stops within 100 meters of the Inn. Taxis and Didi rides can drop you right in front of the Inn with ease. Ease of travel on various public transport to the train station and the intercity bus station. D. The Host The Inn is managed by a young couple, Mr. "Cool" (whose surname translates to "Cool" in English) and his wife Katie, along with a team of energetic youth. They were incredibly helpful, providing insider tips such as how to secure business class train tickets or tickets to the snowcap peak of Yulong Mountain. Such tickets are often blocked/held by larger travel agencies until the night before when they are released for sale to the public.

Zhangjiajie Utopia Hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Zhangjiajie. Mrs.Lily is the core of this establishment if you don’t speak Chinese. She helped me with everything: transportation, tickets, maps, routs, organizing, answering messages, ordering food etc. Mr. Zhu Haizhi happened to be my driver for my entire stay - super polite, attentive, professional, punctual and ready to help. The room was exactly as on the pictures. Fresh fruits every day waiting on the table.

Set in Shanghai and within 1.6 km of Jing'an Temple, Lemon Hotel - Metro Line 1 Line 7 Changshu Road 200 meters has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Clean bed sheet, toilet, shower room, and facilities. Staffs were helpful as well! They helped me charge my phone and let me know the closest metro station near where I wanted to go. Also, location is super great!!!

Well situated in Beijing, Beijing Le Zai Nan Luo Gu Xiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Courtyard Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. We absolutely loved everything about this gorgeous little hotel . So atmospheric and beautiful and in an excellent location too , quiet but close to line 6 and 8 metro and many cafes and restaurants. What made it truly exceptional were the staff . I must mention Alice in particular. She was simply outstanding in terms of friendliness and professional service . She went above and beyond to help us really enjoy our time . She helped with booking , translations and even ordering us a taxi on departure and coming to say goodbye :) She really showcased Chinese hospitality at its finest . We loved breakfast and the afternoon tea was a great plus .

Situated centrally in Yiwu International Trade City, it is only a 15-minute walk from the Phase 1-3 of the Trade City while Phase 4-5 is a 3-minute drive away. Fully equipped and gym equipment

Situated in Beijing, 46 km from Temple of Heaven, Mumian Beijing Daxing International Airport features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Staff is super friendly, Tommy is very helpful, showing me where is the swimming pool, restaurant, even brought me to the airport for the banking etc, my shower is start leaking around 11pm, they have sent plumber straight away to fix it. Room is beautifully done up, so luxury, top to bottom.

Set in Zhangjiajie and with Tianzi Mountain reachable within 200 metres, Zhangjiajie YOLO Resort--Within Zhangjiajie National Forest Park offers a garden, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. The location is perfect—right inside the national park, surrounded by beautiful tea plantations. Just an 8-minute walk away, there’s a stunning sunset spot that’s not to be missed. The staff were incredibly helpful—Alex helped me plan the perfect itinerary, and Moa made the best tea and was always there to assist with anything I needed. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Set in Guangzhou, 28 km from Yuexiu Park, Fairfield by Marriott Guangzhou Konggang offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking and a restaurant. Breakfast was great! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is huge and sparkling clean.

紫龙花园酒店 The Purple Horse - Zilong Garden Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Beijing. The hotel is slightly tucked away in one of the Hutongs but very well positioned for visiting all the major attractions in Beijing. The staff is kind and always ready to help. They delighted us with special Christmas gifts. The food (including breakfast) offers an excellent selection of European and Chinese cuisine, tea, coffee, milk, fruit, and salads. Everything is very tidy and clean, with towels changed daily. The room includes a refrigerator, a kettle, water, tea, and coffee…

Matatagpuan sa Huaqiang North Business District, nagtatampok ang Huaqiang Plaza Hotel ng kumportableng accommodation na may libreng WiFi. Great location, clean, breakfast was ok but mostly their amazing staff. Lots of thanks to Jonathan for prompt assistance and the Russian lady who assisted me with translation and sorting my room.
