O Sandalwood Hotel está localizado em Nyaung Shwe, a apenas 2 minutos a pé do Píer de Nyaung Shwe, oferecendo um terraço na cobertura com vista para a montanha. The hotel is managed by a very diligent lady. She does her work well and gives you excellent advices. You can book your activities in the city with her. I recommend you that if you're going to inle lake as a tourist you could bring some clothes or canned food to give to the people. The situation got bad since the flooding on September, so every help will be appreciated.

We stayed here for two nights and fell in love with this beautiful, cozy, and quiet family-owned boutique hotel. It truly felt like a countryside retreat, with a peaceful and serene environment that was incredibly relaxing. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the AC worked perfectly. While the cell service and Wi-Fi were a bit unstable, that’s common in Myanmar right now and didn’t impact our overall enjoyment. The food was exceptional—it felt like eating home-cooked meals. Compliments to the chef for such delicious dishes! The staff were outstanding—so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They arranged an e-bike for us, which made exploring on our own a breeze. After a day of adventures, the spa services were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We highly, highly recommend staying here. It’s a true gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Can't wait to return!
