Super friendly staff who were always willing to help. Good facilities, pool, gym, wide choice on the restaurant menu. Might be a bit tight if the hotel is running at capacity.

I read a lot of reviews when selecting hotels on booking.com but rarely do I provide a review myself. This is absolutely the place to stay in Yangon. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed in - it rivals beautiful 5 star hotels in London or New York but at a fraction of the price. But the real stand out is the staff - they made us feel safe, secure, always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Myanmar has significant challenges with civil unrest and yet this hotel - amid great difficulty - stays open and provides an exceptional, safe and friendly experience. So many other large international hotels have shut - it’s a testament to the staff and owners this hotel remains open and running in such a professional way. Breakfast was delicious and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - all three I can recommend. I also tried the spa and had a Burma massage and it was great. We loved Yangon and we loved this hotel!

Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort, Kawthaung features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Kawthaung. Staff were incredible and very helpful. Views were amazing and beer was cheap

Situated in Nyaung Shwe, 15 km from Inle Lake, Sandalwood Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The rooms are big and very clean, excellent location close to the boats, breakfast was delicious and the owner was so kind and helpful to us! She provided free bikes for us!we would definitely stay again in this hotel!

Set in Nyaungu, 2.2 km from Izza Gawna Pagoda, Bagan Cottage Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We are very happy to choose Bagan Cottage hotel to stay during our second Bagan journey. It has an amazing interior and cosy atmosphere. It is quiet, clean and more beautiful than on the pictures. The restaurant is hygienic and the vegetarian food is delicious. The entire hotel’s team is so kind, friendly and helpful, they arranged everything around e-bikes and tuk-tuk or taxi drives, plus gave us good insight tips. The location of the hotel is near to the airport so a bit further from old Bagan, therefore not the most suitable to e-bike from the hotel. But it’s only a 10-15 min drive by taxi or tuk-tuk to inner Bagan, then hiring there an e-bike to discover the close area gives the feeling or hire a car for a full day from the hotel is also a good solution to visit the further parts of Bagan. We have had the feeling like arriving home every day after adventuring and contemplating around the breathtaking temples and pagodas of beloved Bagan. A&G

The Rangoon Hotel is in a prime location in the centre of Yangon, and provides a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. Location, near Junction Center (a supermarket) the vibes of the area the sidewalk market, and peaceful area. The staff was great so polite, kind, and respectful and the service was superb. The room exceeds my expectations spacious, and luxurious, and smells fresh and clean. The Pier Bar in the rooftop, its an open air with a great city and pier view. I will come back again and I highly recommend The Rangoon Hotel a place to stay in Yangon. I would like to thank all the staff for your amazing kind and warm hospitality.
