Situated conveniently in the Shevchenkivskyj district of Kyiv, Queen Bee is set 1.2 km from Shevchenko Park, 600 metres from St. Volodymyr's Cathedral and less than 1 km from Saint Sophia Cathedral. New, clean rooms, contemporary classic furniture, nice design of the room. I stayed in the standard double room: large bed and lots of space to move around. At first I was concerned that the street would be busy, but it turned out to be a quiet street with not much traffic. If you go up the road from the hotel, there's a busy commercial street with many shops and cafés. Taxi to the Kyiv train station takes 7 minutes. In short: highly recommend. Will stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception.. Lovely staff at the lounge where I got coffee, cake, snacks, drinks. Adequate parking. The staff always spoke English with me--since I don't speak Ukrainian. Fresh towels and complimentary water daily. Extensive breakfast buffet and friendly staff.
